A rare breed of dangerous reptile called a Gaboon Viper which swallowed up an entire fish was killed by a social media user with the pictures shared online.
An unnamed social media user took to a popular Nigerian online forum to share his encounter with a Gaboon Viper snake which he killed.
Read his narration below:
"During work hours today at work (dredging site), the sun got so hot that I and my colleuges had to find a shelter to save us from the wrath of the sun.
"Not so long after finding a perfect spot,we saw a big snake (called Ajuala in Igbo language). It was resting after swallowing a fish."
"With the height of hunger and our annoyance about the hot sun, we didnt hesitate before killing the snake (well u know the rest)."
"The snake looks like its related the python family but the head is different."
