Leading All Progressives Congress gubernatorial candidate in Ondo, Rotimi Akeredolu today met briefly with Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo and the former Governor of Ekiti, Kayode Fayemi in Akure, Ondo State.
Vice President Osinbajo accompanied by Dr. Kayode Fayemi, Minister for Solid Minerals made a brief stopover in Akure en-route Ado Ekiti for the Graduation ceremony of Afe Babalola University.
The purpose of the meeting is currently sketchy but rumours have it that Mr. Osinbajo wanted a first hand update of the process of the APC in the forthcoming gubernatorial election.
"The party Chairman D.I. Kekemeke and I gave him assurances of our readiness for the task ahead. We are sure good to go. The campaign kicks off in Ore on Monday October 24th," Akeredolu announced on his Facebook page as he shared the pictures.
