Following Senator Dino Melaye's comments about Nigerians who prefer 'imported' ladies to 'made-in-Nigeria' women, a popular online news platform has reminded him of his own actions with his ex-wife.
Senator Dino Melaye chose that occasion to 'mock' Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomole at the senate plenary session yesterday, March 2, while other senators campaigned for the use of Made in Nigeria products, and for the federal government to make laws that will favour local producers.
“Nigerians prefer imported ladies to made-in-Nigeria women,” Melaye said, a direct shot at Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomole. He then went further to say that Nigerian men need to become ‘born again’ by marrying ‘made-in-Nigeria women’.
For dissing the governor, Sahara Reporters decided to remind Melaye of how he allegedly brutalised his ex-wife Tokunbo.
“Dino Melaye of the Nigerian Senate urged Nigerians to patronize ‘Made-In-Nigeria women/girls’,” Sahara Reporters tweeted at the senator, adding, “does this look familiar?”
