Senators debate amendment to Code of Conduct act, after Saraki loses at Appeal Court

Members of the Senate are currently debating the clauses in the amendment of the Code of Conduct Act.

This is following the presentation of the report on the bill by the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions, which marks the third stage in the process of passing the amendments into law.

In a related development, President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, today, lost a bid to stop the Code of Conduct Tribunal trial at the Appeal Court.
