Cristiano Ronaldo, who picked up his fourth Ballon d'Or last December, has now landed the first separate FIFA prize yesterday as the FIFA player of the year.
Ronaldo earned 34.54 percent of total votes while Messi finished second with 26.42 percent and Griezmann was third at 7.53 percent.
