Farmers/herdsmen clash: No attack recorded in FCT – CP

The Commissioner of Police in the FCT, Mr Wilson Inalegwu, has said that the command has not witnessed any clash between farmers and herdsmen in the territory.

Inalegwu told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Friday that this was because of the timely intervention and proactiveness of the command.
“We don’t have incident of clash between the farmers and herdsmen in the FCT because of timely intervention and proactiveness of the command.

“We had a situation around Waru, but it was quickly nipped in the bud, in fact they didn’t allow it to get to the police,’’ he said.
