Angelina Jolie has spoken for the first time of the emotional toll of her split with Brad Pitt and says she hates being single.
The Hollywood star, 42, says the break-up last year was made worse by health problems including a double mastectomy and Bell’s Palsy on her face.
She said: “Sometimes it appears I’m pulling it all together but really I’m just trying to get through my days. Emotionally it’s been a very difficult year. “I don’t enjoy being single. It’s not something I
wanted. There’s nothing nice about it. It’s just hard.”
It comes hot on the heels of reports that Brad and his ex Jennifer Aniston are patching things up, with the Inglorious Basterds star said to have done some serious thinking which has led him to reach out and say sorry to Jen, 48, for the way he behaved during their marriage.
