An African president has left so many in shock after he stopped by a busy market to eat at a local restaurant.

Following his recent tour of the Kenyatta Market where he met traders operating in the area, Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta has shocked many as he stopped near a local restaurant to eat a traditional meal.

The amiable president shared the photos on his Facebook page and wrote: "Shared a meal of Nyama Choma with Nairobi leaders at Hayi-Hayi Butchery, Kenyatta Market."
