House of Reps to contribute N50,000 each for Team Nigeria delegation to Rio Paralympics

The House of Representatives have resolved to contribute the sum of N50,000 each to the team Nigeria delegation to the just concluded Rio Paralympics 2016, as a token of their appreciation for an outstanding performance.


The lawmakers made this decision during their plenary yesterday September 21st. The House also resolved to invite the paralympians to one of their sessions as a mark of honor.

The house commended the paralympians for emerging the best delegates from Africa at the sporting event.
