The one year feud between popular musician, OritseFemi and his former manager and alleged record label co-owner, Danku have hit its climax.
According to an exclusive report on TheNET NG, Nigerian singer, and performer, Oritsefemi Majemite Ekele, popularly known by his first name as OritseFemi, has arrested his former manager and the MSN Gang label's alleged co-owner, Yusuf Adepitan a.k.a Danku,
Industry sources confirmed that the singer's former manager was arrested by the Lagos State police command at Muson Centre right on the red carpet of the comedy concert 'Pencil Unbroken'.
A source told the online platform: ‘It was like a Hollywood movie, they just stormed the red carpet and whisked him away.’
Sources from OritseFemi’s camp also corroborate the arrest story saying: "After months of hide and seek, the long arm of the law caught up with Danku last night and he had no hiding place. He was picked up by officers of the Nigerian Police force at the Muson centre on the red carpet of Pencil Unbroken event for theft, conspiracy and impersonation."
It can be recalled that few months ago, the singer had earlier threatened to arrest and sue Danku and his mother but it never happened.
Their beef began in April 2015 when Oritsefemi accused Danku of fraud and threat to life which led to the duo parting ways.
Some sources in Danku’s camp have also confirmed that he was arrested last night and taken to Zone 2, Police command in Onikan, Lagos.
