Atletico Madrid coach, Diego Simeone, has admitted he is considering his future, after they lost to rivals, Real Madrid, in the Champions League final.
The Colchoneros conceded first as Sergio Ramos gave Zinedine Zidane’s men the lead, but battled back to equalize through Yannick Carrasco in the second half.
However, there was no winner within 90 minutes or 30 extra minutes.
They were ultimately beaten 5-3 on penalties, after Juanfran hit the post.
It is the second time in three years that Simeone’s team have lost to Real in the Champions League final.
“It’s a moment for me to think about things,” Simeone said.
“When you give everything and it’s not enough, it’s hard.
“These have been three wonderful years but I am not happy tonight. I do not know which hurts more, this final or the last one.
“I just feel for the people who have come to watch us.”
