20 people are battling for their lives in the hospital in Enugu while a 13-year-old primary school pupil has been confirmed dead after eating at a traditional marriage ceremony last weekend.
This was discovered shortly after the refreshment, when guests began vomiting blood after complaining about a sudden stomach upset.
The bride simply identified as Obiageli, was also said to have been affected with swollen legs and other complications, but is being handled with traditional and orthodox medicines.
It is believed that the food in question may have been the pork meat served but the family members are certain that the soups were poisoned.
