JUNGLE JUSTICE: Man burnt to death for allegedly stealing a motorcycle.
A set of angry commercial motorcyclists in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State on Friday morning burnt a 41-year-old man in Masaka area of the state for allegedly stealing a motorcycle.
It was learnt that the motorcyclists first beat and stoned the suspect before they set him ablaze.
It was also learnt that persistent plead for mercy by the suspect fell on deaf ears, as the motorcyclists went ahead to lynch him.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Ismaila Numan, confirmed the incident to our correspondent in Lafia, adding that some arrests had been made in connection with the killing.
He, however, said the police would investigate the incident for necessary actions.
