Alex Iwobi and Akpom, Sanogo Rejoin Arsenal For Pre-Season

Nigeria international Alex Iwobi and his compatriot Chuba Akpom joined Arsenal on Tuesday as the Gunners began their pre-season training at London Colney.

However,  it was Yaya Sanogo's appearance at the session that caught the eye of many fans across the globe.

Iwobi alongside his other team-mates were put through their paces as Arsenal Wenger's men seek to win the Premier League title in the coming season.

Akpom, who helped Hull City secure EPL promotion and is reported to want to play for Nigeria, winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Per Metersacker and Theo Walcott.

Spanish left-back Nacho Monreal and his English rival for a first-team place Kieran Gibbs were also spotted in training.

Iwobi scored three goals for Arsenal in his debut campaign last season.
