Yesterday, actress Nse Ikpe Etim turned 41 and so many messages from fans and friends rolled in, however, movie producer Jeta Amata has just shared this interesting story below to celebrate her, aww!
"Nse and I have been best friends since we were kids, we've lived together and worked together as siblings and friends. I remember times when we'd both hustle for what to feed ourselves and our younger ones.
She was one of the only 4 friends that attended my hush hush wedding. This is the set of Queen Amina which Nse co-wrote with me and was my assistant director. Yes, Nse is not only one of the best actresses in Africa but a great writer and director also.
One of the only few fights we had in 2008 was about her reluctance to get back being the actress she was born to be. The business we both studied and worked hard to excel in. I'm proud to call her my sister and friend.
Today I celebrate you Nse and wish you a happy birthday on this day October 21. So still on Nse, while I won the GIAMA Award for Best Director a few days ago, Nse also won for Best Actress for her role in STALKER. What better best friend could I want. Happy Birthday Nse!!!!"
