It's been reported that Mel B, 40, has been dating a Beverly Hills cop. But sources reveal her new mystery man is still married, according to In Touch. A source close to the former Spice Girl claims the star has been dating the Beverly Hills cop whose 'marital status is complicated and messy.'
The close friend of the television star continued: 'He's married. He's a cop from the Beverly Hills Police Department. He's also younger than her. But Mel's life is complicated enough right now. The last thing she needs is the over-the-top drama of dating a married man.'
The source explains that Mel B met the law enforcement officer as she was dealing with the
aftermath of her divorce and the restraining orders against ex Stephen Belafonte, 42.
She already seems to be in love with her new guy,' the source continued. The friend also admits, it's lifted the America's Got Talent judge's spirits after a hard year with her nasty divorce.'
TMZ was the first to claim the siren was dating a Beverly Hills cop; soon after she said on AGT that she is single.
The InTouch source added: 'This guy is giving Mel a huge ego boost. He worships the ground that she walks on, and she loves it.'
