The Barcelona star splurged the amazing sum on the 12-seater executive aircraft last August, but details of the purchase have just come to light.
The Cessna Citation 680 is described as a “medium-sized” jet with a range of 3,190 miles and a cruising speed of around 550mph.
Neymar had £33m of assets including another plane, a yacht, reportedly a helicopter and several properties in Brazil frozen in February as part of an investigation into alleged tax evasion.
He is accused of evading £11m by concealing earnings through a network of companies belonging to his family.
Neymar’s latest purchase was reportedly carried out by a company called Neymar Sport and Marketing.
It was gathered that a mortgage for the plane is also in place, signed by Brazilian company Bir Participacoes.
The 24-year-old, who with Lionel Messi and ex-Liverpool striker Luis Suarez forms arguably the most formidable attacking threat in world football, denies any wrongdoing.
Regardless, the second jet is a significant purchase for Neymar.
His contract, leaked online, reveals he earns £77,000 a week – a relatively small amount when compared with the £300,000 a week Man United’s Wayne Rooney pockets.
It totals a £4m-a-year pay packet for Neymar – an amount he reportedly demanded must increase five times if he is to stay at the club.
The sensational Brazilian was the subject of intense interest from United, who were willing to fork out up £250m for him.
