Open Heavens 19 October 2015: Monday daily devotion by Pastor E. A. Adeboye – When Help is Volunteered

Memorise: Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. - Luke 12:32

Read: Esther 5:1-3 (KJV)

1 Now it came to pass on the third day that Esther put on her royal apparel, and stood in the inner court of the king's house, over against the king's house: and the king sat upon his royal throne in the royal house, over against the gate of the house.

2 And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre.

3 Then said the king unto her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy request? it shall be even given thee to the half of the kingdom.

Bible in one Year: Numbers 28-29, Galatians 1

MESSAGE:

After Esther touched the sceptre of a mere mortal king, death was turned into life for her; how much more will great things happen to those who touch the sceptre of the King of kings. I can assure you that lots of transformational changes await those who can touch the sceptre of the Most High God – the Lord Jesus Christ. I was once invited to a Fall Gospel Business Men Fellowship meeting in Port Harcourt (South-South Nigeria). I was asked to speak on “The New Anointing”; so I told them what the anointing can do in the life of a man. At the end of the message, virtually everyone wanted to torch the man of God. I had to be smuggled out of the hall where the meeting held. As we drove off, a very desperate woman ran towards the car with her handkerchief and rubbed it against the car and said, “There is power here now”, and she went home. Unknown to her, while she was away, one of her sisters had gone completely insane. It was so serious that it took six men to hold her down. When she got home and saw what was happening, she asked them to make way for her, because she had power in her hands. She simply laid the handkerchief on the girl and she became normal instantly.

In addition, after Esther touched the sceptre, the king asked her, “My queen, what can I do for you?” Normally, when you approached a highly placed individual for a favour, you should be the one to ask for help. But in this case, we see the king volunteering help to Esther. This tells us that when your day of favour dawns, the Almighty God will volunteer to help you. Furthermore, we see that the volunteered assistance was very significant. The king offered to give Esther up to half of his kingdom. If she had asked for it, she would have gotten it.  When your day of favour dawns, God will be ready to grant your request, no matter how big, difficult or how impossible it may sound. This season, the Lord will volunteer to help you. He will give you an open cheque, saying “My child, just ask anything you want and I will do it!” During this season of your favour, your request shall not be grievous to God. Even when you are at a loss over what to ask, the Lord will lead you to ask right by His Spirit.

“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” - Romans 8:26

Prayer Point: Father, You know my needs more than I do, please meet all of my needs today.

Once upon a time, a set of policemen turned armed robbers overnight

The armed robbery campaign of some turncoat policemen ended when they were arrested during a joint operation of the Anambra State Commissioner of Police Monitoring Unit and the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the command.
According to Sun Newspaper, the two policemen, 38-year-old Corporal I.L.O. Peter, serving at Oguta Division of the Imo State Police Command and Constable Nicholas Ogbianu, 37, who was dismissed from the Delta State Police Command, were arrested in Onitsha, Anambra State, for robbery and for impersonation respectively.

Anambra State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Hosea Karma said the Commander of Anambra SARS, Supol James Nwafor and his men had been keeping close tabs on the two alleged police culprits, following reports by individuals that they had been robbed or their vehicles snatched on the highway by policemen who were wrongly assumed by innocent members of the public, to be on official duty at checkpoints. Deeply disturbed by the increasing number of such reports, a special dragnet was laid out by the command to apprehend the rotten eggs, whose evil activities had given the police an odorous smell before the public.

It was not long before the perpetrators fell into the net of the police. As Sunday Sun learnt from Karma, the alleged bad egg Corporal Peter and accomplices, Ekene Uche Ohanusi and Benjamin Obinwanne, were caught during one of their operations. Recounting some of the past escapades of the gang, Karma said: “The gang has been involved in several cases of armed robbery operations and snatching of cars along Onitsha-Owerri Expressway and robbed several commercial vehicles both during the day and at night. Also, we also got intelligence information that some policemen had been robbing people along the highway. So we set up a monitoring team that worked with the Commander of SARS and his men. That was how we arrested the suspect, Corporal Peter and his gang members during their operation.”

He explained that Ogbianu was dismissed from the Delta State Police Command, following his transfer to Adamawa State Police Command in 2013. Karma said that Ogbianu launched into a new ‘career’ of impersonating genuine police officers and engaging in illegal duties at Onitsha and collecting money from motorists and commercial motorcyclists. It was in the course of this that officers of the CP’s Monitoring Unit arrested him at No. 1 Anglican Lane, Nkpor-Agu, Upper Iweka, Onitsha, while fully dressed in police uniform.

The suspect, Corporal Peter, who spoke with Sunday Sun said: “I was recruited into the Nigeria Police Force at Oji-Rivers Police College, Enugu State, in 1999 and posted to Imo State Police Command, where I was serving at the Oguta Division of the state command.”

Continuing, he told Sunday Sun: “I formed a gang of armed robbers. We robbed passengers travelling from Anambra State to Imo State. Sometimes, we will mount road block as if we are carrying out stop-and-search, and then rob the people or snatch big cars from the owners. After snatching the car, a member of the gang will sell the car and give me my own share, which may be from N100,000 to N200,000.

Peter further disclosed that he is a native of Udi Local Government Area, Enugu State, adding he received regular returns from members of his gang even when he was on course at the police college.

His words: “I went on course for promotion to rank of corporal at Oji River Police College, Enugu State. My gang members still continued with the armed robbery operations and always sent money to me during the course. I went into armed robbery five years ago. Sometimes, I give out my arm and ammunition to the gang to use for armed robbery operations. I never imagined that one day I would be caught.

“On June 5, 2015, a member of the gang and myself snatched a Lexus SUV with registration number BBC 105JT, along Ozubulu road, belonging to one Mrs. Jennifer Adaeze Ohizu and we wanted to sell the car in Aba. We also snatched another Toyota SUV at Okija, Anambra State and collected some ransom from the victims. We made money when we sold the SUV.”

Couple defraud business Man by lying that his late son has a child alive

Benjamin Eneje, a businessman, whose 28-year-old son, Paschal Eneje, was murdered in cold blood, very close to his house, on April 19, 2014, at Nsude, Udi Local Government Area, Enugu State was recentl duped.

How he was duped:

In January this year, Okechukwu Emeka, 37, cooked up a story and sent a text message to Eneje with intent, as the police alleged, to deceive and extort money from him, by claiming that he knew the person who killed his son, adding that the killer was residing in Uwani, Enugu city.

In the text message, he pretended to be a woman and told the grieving father that before Paschal was gruesomely murdered, he had impregnated “her” and that “she” later gave birth to a baby boy, who was already four months old. Seeing a glimmer of good coming out of the sad end of his only son, Eneje was excited at the prospect of getting some comfort from nurturing his grandson. So he requested that a picture of the child be sent to him.

Promptly, Emeka sent a picture of his own four-month-old son, through Whatsapp to Eneje, who requested to discuss with the supposed mother of his late son’s child. Quickly, Emeka recruited his wife, 35-year-old Destiny, to act as the lady, who was impregnated by late Paschal and mother of the boy.
Emeka called Eneje and passed the phone to his wife, who regaled the heartbroken man with a convincing tale of how she met and fell in love with his son. She spoke glowingly about Paschal and the baby boy. The spider web tale apparently touched the man and he agreed to provide to her with financial support, to care for his “grandson.” From that day, the couple began to push him for money.
In a chat with Sunnewspaper, Eneje narrated his encounter with the couple, which corroborated what the couple said. He added: “I believed what the lady told me. I thanked her letting me know the story. And I promised to take care of her and the baby boy. I even connected her to my wife in London. She began to chat with my wife on Whatsapp.”
My wife asked for a picture of the baby boy, which was sent to her in London, through Whatsapp. At this point, they made a request for N500,000 for the upkeep of the baby boy. We agreed and I sent them N350,000 naira.
Later, I asked the woman to bring the baby to Enugu, for us to see him. She said I should send them money for air-tickets. At this point, I became suspicious and reported the matter to Enugu State Commissioner of Police, Mr Mohammed Adamu and detectives from the command started trailing them.”
Adamu disclosed that his men eventually laid ambush for them in Port Harcourt. And then moved to arrest them on September 23, 2015, at Rumuigbo, a suburb of the garden city. Eneje said he was shocked to the marrow when he saw the suspects.
His words: “When they were arrested and I saw them, I was shocked to see that the husband of the woman was Okechukwu Emeka, a staff working in my oil service firm.”
When Okechukwu Emeka spoke with Sunday Sun, he confessed to the crime. His wife added that she and her husband used the money they got from Eneje to meet their living expenses and pay their children’s school fees. As their cookie had crumbled, the couple have been begging Eneje to forgive them, lamenting that poverty and greed led them into the alleged crime.

However, the police boss has assured that the couple would have a day in court soon.

How my husband abused and raped me several times - Woman opens up

This story, by Mandy Boardman, amother and a small-business owner in Indian, surfaced on the interent hours ago and it has since gone viral. Read the long story below:
My story starts like a lot of people’s stories. I had a whirlwind romance and married a man I put all my trust in. We had a happy marriage for a few years, and then we began to drift apart. Our lives were consumed by everyday events — children, school, work, sports — which meant we were a typical married couple working on raising a family and living a normal life.
Seven years into our marriage, I started having memory and fatigue issues. Strange things would happen to me and I couldn’t remember how. One night, I woke up with a dissolving pill in my mouth. I had no recollection of taking a pill and was very confused. Another night I woke up with my clothes off. That was strange, since I wear clothes when I sleep and could not remember taking them off. I began to worry that I was sleepwalking.
I was also experiencing a weird taste when I slept. It was very bitter, like that lingering awfulness in your mouth when you don’t get an aspirin down in the first swallow. After a while, I started tasting the same thing in my drinks. I thought there was something seriously wrong with me.
One night, I woke up to my husband standing over me with something strange in one hand and a flashlight, shining in my face, with the other. As he scurried away he tried to hide something under the mattress. After a physical confrontation, I was able to retrieve what was hidden. Under the mattress was a vial with a cloudy liquid inside. I asked what it was and what was he doing with it. He admitted that he had been dissolving Xanax and/or Ambien and administering it to me while I slept. Of course I asked why and he told me he thought I needed the drugs so I could get more sleep. Confused, I begged him to stop. He agreed to stop and I trusted that he would.
Over the next few years, I caught him multiple times administering the same white cloudy liquid to me. I confronted him over and over again, pleading for him to stop. He always had a way to make me believe that he would stop, that he was just looking out for my best interest.
One day, my husband left his phone at home. I had had suspicions that maybe he was involved in something shady so I decided to investigate. I found something on that phone that would change my life forever: video taken by my husband of him having sex with me while I was passed out cold. There were three videos in total and in each one I looked like I was dead. I panicked.
How did I not know this was happening to me? How did I not wake up when this was going on? I couldn’t wake up! I had been drugged with the white cloudy liquid that my husband administered to me countless times before. He would give me such a large amount of the drug that I would pass out and not wake up, for any reason. I was in a deep, drug-induced sleep. How many times had this happened? I had no idea. I was so disgusted, confused and afraid. I had always known that something wasn’t right, but I never had any proof until now.
I kept a copy of the videos and confronted my husband. He acted like he had done nothing wrong and then he somehow manipulated me into believing that no one would believe me, even with the video. Very soon we were divorced. He moved out and away from me. Even though I could move on with my life, I always felt like I should do something, tell someone, let the world know that this extremely messed-up thing happened to me. I tried to shake those feelings off and concentrate on moving on. I would read self-help books, go to support groups and see a counselor regularly.
One day, my son and daughter were supposed to go with their father for their weekend visit. My son would be gone most of the visit on a school trip and my daughter would have been left by herself with her father. All of a sudden, I felt like my brain opened up and I finally realized that what my husband did to me was 100% wrong. If he could do something that horrific and horrible to his own wife, then he could do it to anyone, including my daughter. It was then I knew that I needed to turn him in to the police for what he had done. He needed to be exposed for the monster that he was.
I turned the copy of the video I had into the police and told them my story. For the next three years, I fought this man who I once trusted with my life. I had to fight him in the criminal court for his disgusting acts toward me and also in civil court over my children.
Finally in the spring of last year, the jury trial came to an end: my husband was convicted of six Class B felonies, including rape and criminal deviant conduct.
I was finally free — free of his lies, his manipulation and his dark cloud. I could finally move on knowing that I would be safe. This man could not hurt me or my children.
Or so I thought.
Two weeks later was his sentencing hearing — and we received the biggest shock of the trial. Although he was convicted of those six felonies, he would not spend any time in jail. He would be put under house arrest, essentially free and able to live on without going to prison.
How could that be? How could someone be convicted of such violent crimes and not serve any time in prison?
And while the judge was giving the gift of no prison time to my ex, he told me that my ex may have been a crappy husband, but he was a good father and that I should “forgive him.”
WHAT?!
Excuse me, sir. This man raped me multiple times over many years. Rape doesn’t make him a crappy husband — it makes him a criminal.
I was devastated. I could not believe that one judge could destroy all the hope that I had that justice would be served. I went into a deep depression and tried to hold on to the hope that I would be able to move on and live my life unafraid. No such luck.
Two months later, my ex violated his house arrest. He was finally sent to prison, this time with a five-year sentence — and was let out a few months ago.
I have come forward to tell my story to highlight the issue of marital rape. My case brought up lots of conversation about the law, and whether or not marital rape is illegal. It is, in all 50 states. Some people, like Donald Trump’s lawyer, seem disbelieving. Some people wonder, understandably, how can a man rape his wife. My story tells you how. Regardless of your marital status with regard to your rapist, if there is no consent, it is rape. When a person is convicted of rape, they should receive a sentence that fits that crime. Unfortunately, in my state, rapists’ sentences are handed down by judges who can decide how harsh — or not harsh at all — they will be.
Today, I am still trying to overcome the depression that comes with the shame and disgust that I feel when those videos pop into my head. I try every day to stay positive and to achieve something toward my goal of changing the way people view rape, and especially marital rape. I need to make sure that this story is heard by other women in similar situations. Maybe they will find the courage like I did to come forward, and to make sure their attacker is held accountable for their actions.
If I can continue to bring the issue of marital rape to the forefront of conversation, then maybe I can help make changes in sentencing laws for convicted rapists. If my story helps one person, it is a story worth telling.

There's a s3x market in Calabar that is filled with ladies from Cameroun

Vanguard newspaper recently released an investigatory report on Calabar and here are highlights form it.

Calabar, Cross River State capital, is famous as the home of bevy and succulent women. The bulk of these women are girls from tertiary educational institutions in the city. Teenage secondary school girls along with their city colleagues who are also attractive make the population of women in the city burst at the seam. To keep body and soul together, many of them resort to “hustling”, a nomenclature for part-time prostitution prevalent in the city.

These ‘hustlers’ operate from their hostels and homes during nocturnal hours. They roam the streets, especially around places with active night life like Atekong Drive, Marian Road, Effanga Mkpa Street, Edabor Street,Third Avenue, Second Avenue and highbrow eateries where people, particularly visitors, congregate at night and can afford to pick them up for a fee to satisfy their sexual appetite.

There are, however, indications that the activities of these ‘hustlers’ are threatened by girls from Cameroon and Niger Republic who, recently, descended on Calabar and are systematically offering “better services” at cheaper fees to teeming clients. These dark skinned new entrants, aged between 20 and 25 years, seem poised to take over the trade and the local girls do not seem to be finding it funny.

These Cameroonian and Nigerien girls, apart from being classy like some of the Calabar tertiary education institution girls, are available (night and day), which gives them the edge as they give clients the opportunity to take a shot at them whenever they want it unlike the local ‘hustlers’ who are available mostly at night.

Unyime, a young man, who operates an ice cream spot in front of a famous fast food spot along Atekong Drive/Marian Road , told Sunday Vanguard that the girls are sex machines who can do anything anywhere because they have an “I don’t care attitude”. Sunday Vanguard investigation revealed that, unlike the local ‘hustlers’ who are predominantly students who come out mostly at night and position themselves along strategic parts of the city ostensibly for fear of being recognised by colleagues or neighbours, these Cameroon and Niger girls are braggadocios and walk about boldly around the city in the day and traverse popular night clubs, fast food and beer joints to solicit for patronage. They take residence in cheap hotels with fees ranging between N2,000 and 3,000 daily. So, clients, at any time of the day, don’t have to face the headache of looking for joints where to pay for ‘short rest’. They can simply join the girls right in their rented rooms where the cost is built into her charges.

“These girls are everywhere in the city and they are more or less sex machines as men sometimes wait for their turns; this is the first time I am seeing a man wait in his car or sit at the bar and wait for the person inside to come out before going in to do the same thing the other person just did in the same place”, Christian Edah, a bar attendant in one of the hotels told Sunday Vanguard.

He said some of the girls take between 10 and 15 men a day and still look fresh and clean. “Some of our girls who are students and come here to hustle, sometimes in the night, squabble with guests because the man’s libido is too high for them and normally abandon the (Camerounian and Nigerian) to stay the remaining part of the night at the open bar, but these man girls hardly complain and they are making some cool bucks”.

When our reporter interacted with one of them, who gave her name as Ethel from Mamfe in southern part of Cameroon and speaks adulterated French and pidgin English, said business brought her to Calabar and, as such, she has no time for frivolities like complaining when a customer wants more if he can pay additional money. “Each shot is N2,000 or N1,500 and, so long as he pays additional money, I have no issues with him”, she said in French accented pidgin English.

She said her day starts at 9:00 am where she takes her bath and then heads to one of the eateries for breakfast. Thereafter, if she gets a call from any of her customers, she invites him over and business begins. At 1 pm, she goes to a local canteen to eat a launch of eba or rice with pepper soup and then return to the hotel for a drink with colleagues and intermittently goes to her room to service clients. “I don’t go out to hunt for men, they know where to find me or I call them on phone”, she stated.

A staff of one of the hotels where these girls are lodged said the love for variety by Nigerian men is what is driving them to patronise the girls, otherwise there is nothing special about them. “Most Nigerian men like to show that they have done it with somebody from outside the country; otherwise our girls are okay and better than them”, he said.

Speaking on the issue, Mr Jude Ngaji, the Cross River State Security, as Adviser, said prostitution is morally wrong and encourages criminal activity and such, the state government will do everything to stop the practice. “Morally, prostitution is what you find all over the world. It must be decently done and make sure that don’t constitute security issue. My concern is that, let criminals not take advantage of these girls. I am not going to determine the number of visitors to these sex workers but my major concern is that once these sex workers become security issue we would stop them”, Ngaji said.

Much Ado about the heartless 39 year old man that murdered his pregnant girlfriend

A 39-year-old man Chamberlin Ojoko, has been arrested for murdering his  pregnant girlfriend, Chinonye Ella, 25, by giving her a local abortion concoction.

The incident happened at Ezeakam Eziudo community in Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government Area, Imo State.

The concoction caused fatal adverse reaction that resulted in her death, on July 20, 2015. Like someone acting out a well-scripted plan, Ojoko was alleged to have calmly gone home to borrow a shovel from his brother, Pastor Sopuruchi and buried the corpse of the deceased girlfriend in a shallow grave, which he dug at the back of an uncompleted building owned by one Dr Maduakolam Ukaegbu, a kinsman.

According to the Imo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Taiwo Lakanu, the chain of events that ultimately led to the untimely death of Chinonye began the day she boarded the same bus with Ojoko in December 2014, at Achingali, in Obowo Local Government Area, Imo State.

They chatted along the way as the trip progressed and then exchanged phone numbers. While Chinonye lived in Umuahia, Ojoko on his part resided in Port Harcourt. Over the intervening period, Ojoko regularly invited her to Owerri, where they would lodge in a hotel and have fun. After each visit, he would give her N3,000 to N4,000 to cover her transportation costs. This continued until Chinonye informed him that she had become pregnant.

Apparently, the news that she had conceived was not well received by Ojoko, who set about sourcing for a local concoction, probably after convincing her on the need to abort the innocent unborn child.

Lakanu explained further that on July 20, 2015, the suspect took Chinonye to an uncompleted building at Ezeakam Eziudo, his community, where he gave her the local abortion concoction. Within hours, her condition became critical as intense pain wracked her body, particularly around the stomach.
At the headquarters of the Imo State Police Command, where he is being held in custody while investigations continue, Ojoko recounted to Sunday Sun, what happened that fateful night he gave his girlfriend the abortion concoction.

He said: “On July 20, 2015, I took my girlfriend to an uncompleted building around 6:30pm. My girlfriend took the herbal medicine, but later she started writhing in pain. Then she died. I ran to my house and took a shovel; I carried her body to the side of the building. I dug the ground and buried her in a shallow grave.”

Believing in his heart that he had covered his deed like Cain, who killed his brother Abel, Ojoko returned to Port Harcourt, to the warm embrace of his unsuspecting and pregnant wife. But unknown to him, a certain little girl had seen him carry out the dead body of Chinonye, and dump it in the grave he dug. The little girl later told the owner of the building about the horrific crime she saw. After the shock of the revelation wore off, Dr. Ukaegbu ran to the Ezinihitte police station to report what he was told by the girl. The police station contacted the Head of the Homicide Unit at the Imo State headquarters in Owerri, Supol Innocent Obi, who led his men, Pastor Sopuruchi Ojoko (brother of the suspect) and Dr. Ukaegbu, to Port Harcourt, where Chamberlain Ojoko was arrested.

Giving further insight to the incident, brother of the suspect, Pastor Sopuruchi Ojoko, told Sunday Sun: “I saw my brother Chamberlin Ojoko and his girlfriend on that day around 3.00pm. They didn’t enter our house in the compound; instead they walked toward Eziudo road. About 9:00pm, I saw that my elder brother, Chamberlin, returned to the house without the girl.

“He requested for shovel and took it to the bush. He didn’t return till 11:00pm. I asked him where he was coming from at that late hour; he said he went to the toilet. I asked him, why he came to the village without informing us. He replied that he was working at the building site. I saw bruises and wounds on his hand. When information got to us that my elder brother murdered his girlfriend, I had to take the policemen to Port-Harcourt to arrest him.”

On August 15, 2015, the body of the deceased girlfriend was exhumed and autopsy conducted. The policemen discovered how he used the deceased girlfriend’s cloth to choke her. There were stains of the victim’s blood at the uncompleted building. The police also learnt that the suspect threw away the handset of the deceased girlfriend.

As it stands now, Lakanu said the Command is concerned to locate the relations of the deceased given that her handset which could have offered assistance in this regard was thrown away by the suspect.
“We want members of the public to assist us and provide information that would help us find the relations of the deceased. We learnt from the suspect that the deceased resided in Umuahia, Abia State, before her demise,” Lakanu pleaded.

Also, the suspect will soon be charged to court after completion of the investigation.

#KFB Only God Could Have Done This! I ate and went to hell...

Hello madam Kemi Filani, hope you are good? I have this testimony I would love you to share with your blog readers for me. God delivered me from the consequences of strange appetite.
I ate and went to hell, but the power of God, the Almighty brought me out.
My pregancy was becoming controversial and long. I was not feeling any movement in my womb from the sixth month and the different hospitals l went to were saying the foetus was alive , even with the series of tests and scan carried out on me.
However, l carried the pregnancy for a very long time.

When the waiting was getting too long and unbearable, l sought God's help. l was praying and attending special programs, but when the time came for me to be delivered, God rose for me.
And it could only have been the God of Abraham, God of Isaac and God of Jacob.
At the deliverance session, the woman of God held my hands and prayed.
She saw in the Spirit that l was not carrying a baby but a Coconut!

She asked me if l had anything to do with coconut in the course of the pregnancy.
Me? God!
Then l remembered the root of my predicament.
I was about four to five months pregnant when a strange appetite just came all over me.
That day, l was at home when a coconut fell down from its tree in our large compound. I heard the fall, so l went out of the house to go and take it. Before l got there, one elderly woman was already holding it.l pleaded with her to give it to me; telling her that was the reason l came out.

Now, as l recalled the scene, l saw she reluctantly gave me the coconut, even hitting my stomach with it.
And truly, it was around that time l no longer felt any foetal movements.
Father God, l learned my lesson!
I sought Your Mercy and You did not leave me to myself.
I was put on a seven day dry fast with mountain moving prayer points.
At the end of the 7th day, in the evening, my menses came as the Woman of God had prophesied.
A menstruation that was not only blood but with shredded-particles-like- substance flowed for the normal duration.
That was my first victory.
The Woman of God later prayed for me for the power of God to cleanse me inside out and prepare my womb, quickening it for the purpose of which it is meant.
And God heard!

Two months later, l became pregnant again; this time with all l could do to be sober before God.
Thank God of all mercies and for all HIS power, HE gave us twins according to HIS Word that says for our shame, we will have double honor.
Lord, how do l praise You enough? How do l tell of Your work that man will praise You?
YOU are GOD the Great GOD

Open Heavens 18 October 2015: Sunday daily devotion by Pastor E. A. Adeboye – Wealth Transfer

Memorise: A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just. - Proverbs 13:22

Read: Proverbs 13:21-22 (KJV)

21 Evil pursueth sinners: but to the righteous good shall be repayed.

22 A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.

Bible in one Year: Numbers 26-27, 2 Corinthians 13

MESSAGE:

Because God owns everything on earth, He can give a person power to get wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18). Not only does He give power to get wealth, He also transfers wealth from one person to another. God can transfers wealth from the enemies of His children, to those who will serve Him. He can equally transfer wealth from His children whom He has blessed, who refuse to utilise their blessings for His purpose, to those believers who will use it to glorify Him. If you are stingy, you are not like your Heavenly Father. When I was young, there was a man I knew who was extremely wealthy but extremely miserly.

He was so stingy that he could not even trust his wife with housekeeping allowance. When she wanted to go to the market, he would go with her. After she bargained for meat, he would pay. When she had prepared the soup or stew, he would take a portion for himself and keep it in his bedroom. Whenever he wanted to eat, they would have to come and take the pot of soup or stew from him, and while it was being warmed up, he would stand by and watch. He never took his money to the bank. He had one huge room where his money was kept. By the time he died, his children searched everywhere for the key to that room, bit they could not find it, then the eldest son reasoned that since their father was so miserly, it was possible that he went as far as swallowing the key, so he suggested they turn his corpse upside down  and hit his back. As they did so, the key dropped.

“A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.” - Proverbs 13:22

God looking for those who will serve Him with whatever He gives to them. God is looking for those who will not give any excuse when the Owner of their wealth needs it for His purpose. Can He entrust you with more of His resources? How have you been giving to the work of God? To what extent have you been cooperating with the King of kings? If you have been blessed, but you cannot spend freely for the kingdom, do remember that the same way God brought the money in, He can take it out. May you not lose your wealth to others in Jesus’ Name. Do everything possible to justify why you should remain a custodian to God’s blessings.

Key Point: When you faithfully cooperate with God in meeting the needs of His kingdom, He will enlarge your capacity, and make you a greater treasurer of His resources. - See more at:
