You Are 40 But Can't Boast Of A Quarter Of My Achievements, Rosy Meurer Blasts

Lmao, oh dear! If Rosy is truly 25, then people need to forgive her, she is still learning in life, and so she does not know the meaning of her first lines, loool. Forgive me too! Lmao... sigh! So Rosy, Queen of Queens as she fondly calls herself, just joined the league of movie producers in Nigeria and we were happy for her, until she dropped the bombshell.

Rosy took to IG to talk about how she met Tonto Dikeh's ex, Olakunle Churchill, how he told her to stop being a baby and learn how to be responsible, and today she is a movie producer... The story just goes on and on. Do read it all below...

It never even crossed my mind to turn pro already at the age of 25 with great achievements that you at 40 can't even boast of a quarter. I was never ready to do anything, Grew up with all of the luxuries
life had to offer anyone. I always thought I would continue to be a spoilt kid, daddy's little girl, Mommy's handbag, got whatever she wanted whenever she wanted just by bending my neck or pointing at stuff and giving my puppy eyes and everything just came whether I needed it or not but life has a way of molding you into what you least expect. Loosing a parent at the age of 9 was the beginning of reality when things just went from 100 to 50 which meant not everything would be as rosy cuz I had two younger ones that my mom had to take care of as well and I was the first child which means sacrifices and more responsibilities. Grew up faster than my age and I was fortunate enough to have the right people around me, supporting and advising me, encouraging me and teaching me how to grow into a strong woman. That's when @bigchurchhaven said to me "if you want to enjoy the luxuries of life, if you want to be successful, you have to work hard for it, you have to be determined, you need to focus, you need to stop being a baby, you need to make a move and do what you love the most" he said you have your younger ones looking up to you and sooner or later you will have to take charge and take care of your family. He told me few reality stories of him and other people he knew and it inspired me a lot. So today I can proudly say I didn't just turn a Queen, I've been a Queen from birth sent from heaven with a great purpose in life to perform good deeds and touch as many lives in the littlest ways that I can. I am grateful to God cuz he never for once abandoned me or put me to shame at any point in my life. I appreciate God and he knows that I do. I don't live the holier than thou life but I have God inside of me and I know he knows my heart. Sooooooooo long story short I just want to appreciate God for strength, I want to appreciate my mother, my siblings for their love and understanding and also my boss Mr Churchill for being there for me and my siblings over the years. ☺️❤

PART 2
It's indeed a dream come true to join the league of movie producers. The journey to this feat is not smooth but with determination and consistency I was able to conquer with the release of my very first movie from the stable of Rosaline Meurer Productions LTD. Yes! "The Therapist's Therapy" is a must watch movie that will hold you spellbound to the last action...I give all thanks to God, to my team and partners for the collective effort. @1soulmusicfilm @lilianesoroo @freddieleonard @iamnino_b @freshprincefelix #nollywood #everythingrosy #rosykisses #QueenOfAllQueens👑

South-East Governors Proscribe IPOB, Ask Buhari To Withdraw Soldiers From Region

The South-east Governors Forum rose from its meeting on Friday to announce the proscription of Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB, in all the five states of the zone.

They also appealed to President Muhammad Buhari to withdraw soldiers from the zone while the police carry out their constitutional duty of securing lives and property.

The Chairman of the Forum and Governor of Ebonyi State, David Umahi, announced this after a meeting of the governors with the South-east leadership of the National Assembly and Ohanaeze Ndigbo, the Igbo socio-political organisation.

Mr. Umahi, who read a six-point communique after the meeting, said the five governors are to ensure
compliance with the directive in their respective states.

“In view of the prevailing security situation in the South-East and its attendant consequences, the South-East Governors hereby resolved as follows:

“All the activities of IPOB are hereby proscribed. IPOB and all other aggrieved groups are advised to articulate their position on National issues and submit to the committee of Governors, Ohanaeze Ndigbo and National Assembly members from the South-East zone through the Chairman of South-East Governors Forum,” the communique stated.

According to Mr. Umahi, the “South-east Governors Forum, Ohanaeze Ndigbo and National Assembly Members do hereby reinforce their commitment to a united and indivisible Nigeria.”

“We also reinforce our desire for the restructuring of Nigeria where all national issues will be discussed and amicably settled to achieve justice and fairness to every Nigerian.”

The meeting also reiterated their earlier position that the November 18, 2017 governorship election in Anambra must hold.

“Accordingly, we appeal to Mr. President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, President Muhammad’s Buhari GCFR to please, withdraw the military in the South-east zone, while police perform their traditional role of maintaining law and order,” he added.

Mr. Umahi said the South-east governors have taken concrete steps to protect the lives and property of non-indigenes in the region.

He said that the governors were in touch with the Northern Governors Forum and that the latter assured them of the safety of all Igbos living in the north. He said the Igbo governors plan to exchange visits with their northern counterparts.

“In keeping with our earlier position, we wish to assure Nigerians that full investigation is ongoing on all allegations of killings, maiming and other unlawful conduct in the in the South-east zone within this period. The governors and the security agencies are in agreement that appropriate action be taken against anyone found culpable,” he said.

Friday’s meeting was also attended by Governors Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu), Willie Obiano (Anambra) and Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia) while Rochas Okorocha of Imo was represented by his deputy.

Also in attendance were the Ohanaeze leadership led by Chigozie Ogbu, former deputy governor of Ebonyi State, who represented John Nwodo, the President General of Ohanaeze.

The National Assembly members led by Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, and the GOC 82 Division of the Nigerian Army, Adamu Abubakar, were also in attendance.

My Brother Initiated Me Into Confraternity With Gin - Suspect Arrested In Lagos Cult Murder

At 28, Sani Rilwan has been a member of the Black Axe Confraternity for five years but the law caught up with him recently when a clash with a rival cult group, Eye Confraternity in Badagry, led to the death of two members of the latter group.

According to Rilwan, he was passing through Eiye territory in Badagry a few days before the incident when some of the members of the group threatened him with a gun.

He left the scene and few days later mobilised the members of his own cult group to the scene. But Rilwan, a computer graphics designer, denied knowing who did the shooting once they got to the scene.

He said, “After the threat I received, I informed a member of my group named Nami, who mobilised
other members and told me to take him there.

“I know six of the eight of us who went there. The remaining two were brought by Nami. When we got to the Eye boys’ base in Vlekete, Badagry, shooting started and I ran away.”

Saturday Punch learnt that by the time dusts settled, two members of the Eye Confraternity – Ajilero Idowu (22) and Anweto Adebayo (28) – had been shot dead by members of Rilwan’s group on August 27.

But Rilwan insisted he was not one of the shooters.

He was arrested four days after the incident alongsides six others – Adewale Kazeem (23), Olajide Zanu (21), Adebisi Adekunle (35), Tunde Adekanbi (32), Ogunlade Femi (28), Olufemi Babatunde (30).

They were paraded with other suspects by the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, Mr. Edhal Imohimi on Thursday.

Explaining how he became a member of the confraternity, Rilwan said he was invited to a birthday party without knowing it was a cult initiation.

“On our way, the vehicle diverted to a bush and we were all told to disembark at a point. They started beating us. After the beating, they told us we were now Aiye (Black Axe) members,” he said.

Two other members of his gang told journalists that they were initiated in similar fashion.

But Adekunle, who is a member of the Eye Confraternity, which lost two of its members in the clash, said his elder brother initiated him in their living room 10 years ago.

He said, “One day, he called me into his living room and told me to kneel and close my eyes. He slapped me hard across the face. Then he told me to stand and open my eyes.

“He drank gin and spat it in my eyes and announced that I had now become a member of the Eye Confraternity.

“Shortly after I was initiated, my parents relocated to Badagry and I joined up with other cult boys in the town. I have never killed anybody in my life.

“I was in my shop when the police arrested me because someone had pointed me out as a cult member.”

The commissioner of police said the suspects would be charged to court as soon as possible.

Imohimi said over the last one week, five kidnapping suspects were arrested in the state while six guns and 16 live cartridges were recovered from criminals.

According to him, his men also arrested members of a gang which distributed cocaine, heroin and Indian hemp in Surulere, Lagos.

He said, “At about 7.15pm on September 11, the gang members were going for a robbery when they were spotted by members of the local security who alerted our men.

“The prompt information we received allowed our operatives to move in and arrest the suspects.

“Investigation showed that the group led by Saidi Kuku specialised in the distribution of hard drugs, cocaine, heroin, codeine.

“Those arrested are Saidi Kuku (43), Jennifer Njagua (22) Abibat Fatai (32), Lola Oladunmoye (25), Michael Ogunferem (37) and Segun Badmus(27).”

Imohimi said one of the main thrusts of his policing plans would be to go after drug dealers.

He explained that there is a close connection between crimes and drug abuse.

“That is why I have charged all area commanders and divisional police officers to identify kiosks and locations where they sell cocaine and heroin rather than sit in their offices,” he said.

Nigerian Men Are Not Romantic, Simi Fires

Singer Simi has come for the men this morning, but she says it's a fact and it's not that she is bashing them. After being romantically linked with Adekunle Gold and Falz (none of them has accepted this) the singer told Nonye Ben-Nwankwo and Ademola Olonilua what she knows about Nigerian men and how unromantic they are;

She said, “I don’t believe Nigerian men are romantic. I think Nigerian men do not think they have to be romantic. I am not saying this to bash men but I think no one pushes Nigerian men to fight for anything so they have this sense of entitlement. I was watching a Nigerian movie one day and there was this unfaithful Nigerian man who left his wife for another woman. At the end of the day, the
other woman left him and he retraced his steps to his initial wife. The lady’s mother actually told her to kneel in front of the man and that bothered me a lot even though I knew it was a movie. That is the way things are.

“A lot of men grow up in this country feeling entitled to certain things and they believe that they don’t have to work for anything. This has been the case for generations and a lot of our mothers were unhappy because the society expected them to stay in the relationship. I am not saying it is the right thing for people to leave their relationships but a man needs to fight for what he wants so he can value it. I think the problem is because a lot of Nigerian men feel self-entitled and I blame our culture and our mothers. Most mothers are the problem because when something happens, they are quick to advise the daughter and wives, they don’t tell the men that their actions are wrong. So if a man feels that he does not have to fight to keep the relationship, he would not.”

The singer who hinted that she is currently in a relationship described the kind of lover she is. “To describe myself as a lover, I would say that I am a loyal lover. When I am in a relationship, I am all in and I put everything into it. I can only quit a relationship if the person betrays my trust because, to me, trust is everything. Trust is a big foundation for love. If I don’t trust a person, it would be hard to be with the person. If I date someone, I expect that you know what you have to offer. I believe that whatever I do for the person, I should get the same in return. I don’t like people lying to me,” the singer said.

Must Read! Muma Gee's Explosive Interview On Her Crashed Marriage

At this point I'm left speechless. And the truth is so many women, so many women are going through what the singer went through. Just speechless. If you are single and you read this, you might just want to have a change of mind about getting married and just being a babymama, but relax you will find the right man. The bombshell told to Saturday Beats below...

Talking about the marriage scandal, Muma said, “It is exactly one year ago that I separated from my ex- husband. But then, he gave the impression that the issue happened in December 2016.  I put in my best as an African woman to ensure the marriage lasted. Because of his antecedent, I had almost
called off my wedding. I had already done the traditional marriage. The sign that I saw then would have made me to call it off. I didn’t go ahead to do a court wedding after the church wedding. This is just the singular reason. I saw what was coming. But I tried for six years to make it work. I gave up my career; I gave up all I had built over the years to become a full time housewife. It is enough sacrifice for somebody to say thank you. If I weren’t a good, submissive housewife, you would have long heard the story. It’s quite unfortunate that he decided to carry out a campaign of calumny against such a person that gave up her career just to build a home with him in the sight of man and God. If knees could peel based on prayers, mine would have had sores because I prayed ceaselessly for my marriage to work. I thank God I am not barren. God gave me three kids.”

But Saturday Beats reminded Muma that the husband had accused her of abandoning her kids and leaving for Abuja.

But the artiste wondered why anybody would believe such a story.

She said, “Why would anybody think that after carrying a baby in my womb, I would leave a two-month old baby and run away?  A woman who just had a baby, scientifically, has not healed enough to mess around. If you just have a baby and your pocket money has run out and nobody is providing for you, then you have to do what you can with your talent in order for you not to starve. With the pain of childbirth, when he could not provide for me and the children during the early months of nursing, I had to get up and go for a show that was booked for me by an events company. I just wanted to put food on my table for my children. My mother was there, I had two other helps. It was a one day show. I went and I came back. But the person who said I abandoned the baby had left us two months earlier! Yes, he had left the house like six times before the last one. The last one, I said I had tried. I told God to let His will be done.

Responding to allegation of infidelity, Muma said it was her ex who was “very unfaithful” in the marriage.
Muma Gee

“He said I was seen with men, who are the men? Where is the proof? I am a high chief. Why would you come out and lie against somebody who has been kind to you? There is nemesis for all of this. I knew there was a victim he wanted to impress. Last May, I got a call from a woman who told me that she and my ex were supposed to get married but he had run away to the US. The lady said she was sorry that she got involved with him. That was not the first time but the fourth time somebody who was married to me would propose to four different women during my marriage. Come on! You don’t know half of what I have gone through. I only leave it to God. When I had my twins, a woman based in America called Gina sent me a friend request on Facebook and I accepted. Then she sent me her naked pictures and my ex in bed. My ex had proposed to this same woman on a Valentine’s Day and April of that year, I was delivered of a set of twins and the pictures went viral. This lady ran mad and looked for me on FB. The street I live in Port Harcourt is named after me. This woman told me that a girl on that street gave birth to a child for my husband. She sent me the picture of the baby. I had heard that he had slept with most of the actresses in Nollywood especially the up and coming ones. But I didn’t care. I wanted to keep my home. I had been in pains all through the years I was married. He had an affair with the DCO of the police station in the area we lived in Port Harcourt. Two of them used to wear the same attire to attend police functions. Everybody felt the policewoman was the wife of my ex. This DCO is even a married woman.

“There was a day he came home and said he was done with our marriage. He went to the drawer where we kept the wedding certificate and he tore it to pieces. I still have the pieces packed in a nylon bag. He and this police woman planned to take my kids from me. This was April 2015. He packed my kids’ clothes into a box and he and the woman took my kids to the motherless babies’ home. Later in the evening, I got a call from the orphanage saying they needed my approval for them to accept my kids at the motherless babies’ home. I screamed! Later on, a policeman brought my kids back home. Just recently, another woman called me that she had spent $7000 dollars on my ex. She saw my children’s picture on my ex’s DP and she went mad. I told her that I wished her luck.”

Apart from the infidelity issues, Prince, on his social media handle, had said, “If infidelity, adultery and certain fetish activities do not make you restless, then prepare to rest in peace.”  So many people believed the tweet was directed at his wife, Muma. Reacting to the fetish aspect, Muma went down memory lane about what she alleged transpired when her ex was kidnapped few years ago.

“He was kidnapped in December 2015. I know how I fought and raised money to pull him out. I paid the ransom with my money. My church gave me N100, 000. We had N200, 000 left to complete the money. Two of his elder brothers brought N100, 000 each. I didn’t sleep again because these brothers kept disturbing me that I must refund this money. I looked for the money and I gave them. One of his cousins, Chidi Eke, gave us N100, 000 and never asked for refund. At the end of the whole thing, I was put through the highest trauma of my life. His brothers conspired with their other relatives and they gathered in their home that I wanted their brother dead. They said I must swear an oath. I was shocked. I told them I was not going to swear.  They said while he was with the kidnappers, the kidnappers were calling me and I refused to pick their calls. I told them the secret service ordered me not to pick any call as they were investigating the kidnap. But then, December 29, they gathered and said I should take the oath. Coincidentally, one of their sisters was getting married that day. I removed my shoes and on bare feet, I told them that God was watching us. I told them I was not picked on the street by their brother. I told them that all of them that tried to humiliate me, may whatever they did to me be accrued to their daughters and sisters. I raised this curse and the man who was holding the things I was supposed to swear with said they should hold on and we would reconvene again. We never did. My ex eventually became born again after he was released from the kidnappers’ den. He went to church and gave testimony that he was filming in Asaba and he left Asaba for Owerri where he had gone to see a native doctor who had given him a ring.  He said he was on his way back to Port Harcourt when the kidnappers accosted him. I used to think he was fetish-free. He told the whole church that God wanted to use the kidnap case to reorder his steps to God. I was dazed! I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. For him to turn around and say that I am fetish, it is amazing.”

The musician also revealed that she suffered domestic violence in the hands of her ex.

“I would have still forgiven him as I always forgave him each time he walked out of the marriage and came back after a couple of months. But this last time, he held my neck tightly and said he was going to kill me. I was holding my two-month-old baby. He gave me a dirty slap and the baby was thrown out of my hand and the baby’s head hit the bed. It wasn’t the first time he would grab my neck and torment me. He had beaten me a couple of times. But the last beating came with, ‘you are finished!’ he said he was done with me. Shortly before I gave birth, I had sold one of my lands. He gave me N100, 000 and said as I was going to the village; I should buy sand and concrete for the house he was building in the village. But I finished the money I got from selling my land on his building in the village. I loaned him N500, 000 and when trouble started and I needed money to feed the kids, I asked him for the money. That was when he beat me, held my neck and said he was going to kill me and that I was finished. When he released me, I told him he was not God and that I was not finished. He packed out of the house and checked into a hotel. Once in a while, he would call the house help and tell her to dress the children and he would take them out and then he would send one of his girlfriends to bring back the kids. It was after this incident that I had to look for an agent and I begged her to book shows for me so that hunger would not kill me and my children since he had stopped taking care of us.”

Muma however said she has moved on and rebranded. After the dust of the marriage crash, the mother of three has given her career massive attention as she has gone ahead to release a new single which she said would drop very soon.

She said, “African Woman Skillashy is my latest song and it will drop in few weeks. I attached so much depth and importance to it because of what it connotes. It is a totality of an African woman. Women are supposed to be on their game and we are supposed to put our potential to good use to make the world a better place.  That is why the woman has inbuilt traits to carry out certain duties that a man cannot do. One of them is giving birth. It is a mysterious thing. A woman deserves all the support, honour, love and everything to be able to fulfil her destiny.  My team agreed that we should support AWS with a couple of bonus tracks such as ‘Scream,’ ‘Stolen’ and ‘Adoration.’ We will come out with an extended play but AWS is the one we are really promoting. It is a club banger. We are shooting the video and both will drop soon.

“I have no regret that I slowed down. I just had to kill the brand Muma Gee. I shut down suddenly. I was at my peak and I went off! The next news was that I got married. I wanted to reboot a new brand. I had to kill my brand because it was becoming too heavy. I didn’t know the brand would become that big. People were almost worshipping the brand. Now my new brand is just different from what we were used to. Other females have succeeded in leveraging on the brand that I created and they took it to their level. Nobody can beat the new Muma Gee brand. I have come back to take my place.”

Meanwhile, Saturday Beats reached out to Prince Eke to get his own side of the story, his phone was switched off. He did not acknowledge the text message that was also sent to him.

Meet With Kanu, Obasanjo Tells Buhari

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has advised President Muhammadu Buhari to dialogue with the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, to curb the secessionist agitations instead of the deployment of soldiers to the South-East.

Obasanjo said this during an interview with Newsweek Magazine.

Ironically, Kanu, had in the past called Obasanjo an “evil man”.

The former President said, “I don’t see anything wrong in that (Buhari meeting with Kanu). I would not object to that; if anything, I would encourage it. I would want to meet Kanu myself and talk to
people like him, people of his age, (and ask) ‘What are your worries?’ Not only from the South-East but from all parts of Nigeria.”

Obasanjo, who led the final offensive that brought the civil war to an end in 1970, said he had seen too many wars and it was time for Nigeria to move on.

He said he believed that enough dialogue had not been done by both the government and several groups.

The former President, however, said secession was not the answer.

“Those who fought in the war in Biafra will not want to fight any other war. I fought in that war and it was an unfortunate war and I said I have fought one war too many in Nigeria; I don’t want to see another.

“The heavy boot is not the solution. I believe also whatever may be the frustration of any youth in any part of Nigeria; I believe secession is not the solution.”

The former president, who was also military head of state from 1976–1979, said economic development in the country was the only way to solve the various agitations across the country.

Some Igbo leaders have complained that President Buhari, who hails from northern Nigeria, has prioritized the development of other parts of the country to their detriment.

“We need to satisfy the youth in job creation, in wealth creation, in giving them a better, fulfilled life, in giving them hope for the future. There’s no easy way out,” he said.
