I must say that Nigeria is at a point, where Religious stupidity is at an all time high! This foolishness is fueled by the doltish teachings ofcallous Yahoo boy pastors, along with our constant quest to remain ignorant and brainwashed.
-
I hold responsible that cretin of a husband, who should be in the confines of a prison cell, if there were any justice in the world. ~FRZ"

Much Ado about Oge Okoye and the Dogs she tried to steal (Details)

Oge Okoye has disgraced the whole of Nigeria, many fans think.
Today, the Nollywood actress was called out by the fan page of American actress Kenya Moore for stealing the photos of Moore’s dogs and reposting on Instagram as hers.

“Yiipeeee! My new babies just arrived. #Rob #Rosy,” Okoye shared on her Instagram, but she was immediately called out by the Kenya Moore fan page for fraud, just like Yvonne Nelson did the fan who stole her photo.

“Some lady in Africa took a screen shot of king and twirl from Kenya’s page and she’s claiming them as hers. Peep Kenya’s Range Rover logo on the floor mat 😩💀 This lady is an actual verified user too 😂REPORT! #FRAUDULENT,” the fan page captioned the screenshot of the original post side by side the stolen one.

And Oge Okoye immediately deleted the post.

This has earned Oge Okoye the ire of many fans. “Aunty, take it easy with this force fake life you are living. You have disgraced the whole of Nigeria (sic),” an irritated fan said. And the reactions are pouring in.

Even her Wikipedia page has been tampered with.

That awkward moment when a Mother of three threw her one day old baby into soak-away

The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested a woman for throwing her one-day-old infant into a soakaway shortly after delivering the baby at home.

The suspect, Juliana James, a native of Plateau State, wept profusely as she was paraded at the command’s headquarters in Bauchi, the capital, on Friday.

The mother of six said the current economic hardship in the country was responsible for her action as keeping the baby would have brought additional burden on them.

She said,

“Things are hard. My husband has no job. He had an accident three months ago and it affected his manhood. He is still in the hospital receiving treatment.
“I delivered at home and threw the baby in the toilet because I don’t know how we are going to take care of it. I didn’t tell my husband.”

The newborn whose cry attracted neighbours, was rescued alive nearly 12 hours later before being rushed to the Abubakar Tafawa University Teaching Hospital for medical attention.

Addressing newsmen, Commissioner of Police in the state, Zaki Ahmed, said the case was being investigated, revealing that the baby had been handed over to social welfare officers at the hospital.

Gbenro Ajibade addresses the issue of his green card palava and marriage to Osas

Much as it is widely believed that popular Tinsel star, Gbenro Ajibade, married beauty queen and America returnee, Osas Igodaro, to get an American green card, the young model cum actor has told Saturday Beats that such was never his intention.

In an exclusive chat with PUNCH, Gbenro said even two years after his marriage, he had yet to process the green card and he wasn’t ready to anyway.

“Right now, I have a bone to crack with her family because they think I am intentionally refusing to do my green card. I have not done it even now. It is funny how people think. I and

Osas had been legally married in a court in the US two years even before the public knew we were going out. If I had wanted green card, I would have done it since but I felt it would be a distraction. I didn’t marry her because of that,” he said.

Talking about how he ended up marrying Osas, Gbenro said it was never his intention to get married let alone marrying a beauty queen.

“I was one of such persons who swore never to get married. I had an impression about marriage and love. It wasn’t up until I met the right person that the perception changed. Osas was my friend. The first time she came into the country, she even used to drop me off at my girlfriend’s house. We were that close up until the time we became really close. We had mutual interest and she had my back. Then, I had faced so many injuries from back stabbing and snitches. Our friendship is what has been keeping us going.”

Also known for his trademark dreadlock, it came as a shock to not just a few when the actor chopped off his locks for a cleaner shave and cut.

Giving reasons for his action, Gbenro said, “I know a lot of people said a lot of things about my hair. I wore dreadlocks for over 13 years. It got to a stage that I was bored and I wanted to change my looks. There were certain roles I couldn’t play as an actor and even as a model, there were some certain jobs I couldn’t take. I started going out with Osas and she loved the hair. I told her I wanted to cut the hair; she refused even after I had begged her. But when I was about to get married, I felt I needed a fresh and new beginning. I woke up as early as 2am and I cut it off. I do miss my dreadlocks and I know I would get back to it one day.”

Saturday daily devotional by Pastor E. A. Adeboye (Open Heavens 4 March 2017) – Is Jesus in Your Boat?

Topic: Is Jesus in Your Boat? [Saturday 4, March 2017]

Memorise: Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. - Proverbs 3:5

Read: Matthew 8:23-27, Psalm 37:3-5 (KJV)

23 And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.

24 And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.

25 And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.

26 And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

27 But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!

Psalm 37:3-5

3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

Bible in One Year: Genesis 32-33, Isaiah 49:24-50:11

MESSAGE:

Have you ever been on a journey and the opposition against your progress was so intense that you felt you would never get to your destination? If you answer is yes, then know that you are not alone. Life is like embarking on a journey to a destination. Every trip has its obstacles and hurdles. While on a journey, the disciples of Jesus once found themselves in this kind of tough situation. It was so bad that they felt their boat was going to sink. In fact, water was already entering their boat, and going by all they saw, it appeared nothing could be done. If you are facing a similar situation today, simply make this confession to yourself: my boat cannot sink, I shall reach my goal and nothing can stop my trip!

Why will my boat not sink? The reason is because Jesus Christ is in the boat of my life. Nobody and nothing can “swallow the ship where lies the Master of ocean and earth and skies”, a song-writer declared. The greatest mistake you can make is to embark on a journey without Jesus in your boat. It is important to note here that you should have Jesus Christ in the boat of your life, which you can do by receiving Him as your Lord and personal Saviour. In addition to this, you should also have Him in the boat of your endeavours. Do you know that if Jesus is in the boat of your life but not in the boat of your personal endeavours, these projects or plans can sink? Many believers today take it for granted that because they are saved, automatically they will scale through any rough waters, including projects in which they never involved the Lord. This is not faith but presumption. If you are a believer in Christ and you go ahead to start a business, a home or a career without God’s involvement, you are on your own. This is why the memory verse of today says you should trust God and not depend on your own limited understanding. Even when Jesus appears to be asleep in your boat, as long as He is in your boat, He still in control. Hence Psalm 121:4 says,

“Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.”

Is God silent over your situation? Does it appear that He is unaware of what you are going through? Do you feel abandoned by God or even doubt whether He really loves you? Be comforted! God still loves you. He cares so much for you. He empathises with you in that present situation you are faced with, and He will surely make a way for you. In spite of how you feel, God is still in control. In spite of how distant God appears to be, God is right in the middle of your situation to bring you out. It does not matter what is happening around you, the Lord is in control. Very soon, you will testify of His intervention.

Key Point: Any Faith you exercise that is full of hope and great expectations but puts Jesus at the back burner is presumption and not faith.

Read this heart melting story of how Facebook reunited this Mother and Son after 33 Years

File photo

A simple Facebook search reunited a mother and son who were separated without contact for 33 years, the pair said on Thursday.

Vipavadee Thisorn, 54, and Parinya Thisorn, 36, met each other for the first time in three decades in an emotional encounter on Wednesday at Thailand’s southern city of Hat Yai.

Their meeting came three days after Vipavadee searched for her son on Facebook and found him, after several previous unsuccessful attempts.

“I tried searching his nickname ‘Oat’ and his full name many times and never found him,’’ Vipavadee said.

Parinya just recently bought a smartphone and joined Facebook.

Vipavadee, who separated from her husband, Parinya’s father, when he was 3-years-old, said she was too young at the time to take responsibility.

She had tried to reconnect with her son over the years.

“For the past few years, I kept seeing Parinya’s father, who died in 2011, in my vision, he would sit next to my bed when I was sleeping. I think this is the sign that it is the right time to try to find my son again.

“I started the conversation on Facebook with my son. He was not sure who I was at first and asked personal questions like his father’s name and my nickname. Once we both realised we are mother and son, we both burst into tears,’’ Vipavadee said.

Parinya, who travelled 1,700 kilometres from the northern city of Chiang Rai, asked his mother to live with him and his son. “I will never let her go again,’’ he said.

75th birthday! Unforgettable & controversial statements made by RCCG's Pastor E.A Adeboye over the years

image
The General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has come a long way and certainly has a lot to be thankful for. On the second of March, 75 years ago, he was born to a humble Christian family in Ifewara, Osun state.

He is one the most famous pastors in Nigeria and is known internationally. We bring you some of his most powerful and controversial quotes that got Nigerians talking.

 1. When he advised men on choosing the right kind of wife to marry , saying they should not to marry women who cannot pray and cook “If a girl cannot pray for one hour, don’t marry her. Don’t marry a girl who is lazy. Don’t marry a girl who cannot cook, she needs to know how to do chores and cook because you cannot afford to be eating out all the time. Don’t marry a girl who is worldly. If you do, you have carried what you’ll worship for the rest of your life .” This statement did not go down well with a lot of people especially feminists who insisted that wives are not cooks.

 2. His marriage advise to women on choosing the right man to marry . “Don’t marry a man who has no job. Before God gave Adam, Eve, he gave him a job. He said this is the garden, keep it. So those who come to you and say sister, thus saith the Lord, you are going to be the star in my firmament, ask him what is his job. If he tells you he is a contractor, ask him to show you evidence of all the contracts he has done because the contract he is talking about is you. He wants to live off you. Don’t be a fool. If he hasn’t got a steady income, don’t marry him .”

 3. Having intercourse daily is not necessary and anybody who cannot stay away from it for a day should come for deliverance. “If you know anyone who cannot go a day without sex, bring him/her for deliverance. Sex is not food. It’s dangerous obsession.” After several attacks from people, the man of God said his sermon was not for everyone.

4. He warned members of his church not to marry from other churches. “Don’t ever marry outside the church and you have no reason to marry outside RCCG. The reason is that if you are both from the same church even when trouble comes it is easier for the pastors to handle it. “

5. When he asked members of his congregation to donate huge amount of money for a new auditorium, stretching three kilometres at a time poverty is smiling at most of the country’s citizens. “We need N1 Billion from ten (10) people, If you are one of them, please see my personal Secretary after we finish today. We also need N100million from those who can afford it, if you are in that category, please see my personal Secretary as well. Nonetheless, we need everyone’s involvement. If you can afford N50million, N20million, N5million, N1million to as low as N100, kindly make sure you participate. How many of you will build for the Lord?” He was criticized by angry Nigerians who described it as illegal and criminal.

6. Adeboye frowned at pastors growing beards in the name of new fashion as he cautioned that they should be clean shaven at all times. “The youths don’t respect an elder that looks like them. You are supposed to be their guiding light after they have fooled around. “ I don’t want to see any of my pastors looking like fellows from the training camps of Al- Qaeda .

7. He condemned tribalism. “Anybody who brings tribalism into the church should either leave the church immediately or will soon die like Annanais and Sapphira .”

 8. He told Members not to give offering if they are unsure of their salvation. “From tonight, whenever they are taking an offering and you are not sure of your salvation, don’t give … why must you send money to Heaven if you are not going there? Why must you send money to London if you don’t have a passport? How will you collect?” he asked. “If you are not going to Heaven, why must you keep on sending money to Heaven? Rather than waste your money, use it to enjoy yourself so that when you get to Hell you can tell the devil ‘at least I tried.”

9. When he commended Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state, for what he called his courage and willingness to defend his people. “We thank God for your courage, for your boldness, we thank God for your being willing to take risks so that your people can be protected. “You have been a governor who knows when to say enough is enough in defence of his people. And I’m sure you know what I’m talking about and I am sure the world knows. I don’t want to say more than that. But be assured that we are praying for you and you will succeed in Jesus name.” The All Progressives Congress in Ekiti state alleged that Fayose could have bribed Adeboye with huge amount of money to get such endorsement, which is not being circulated.
