Buhari is really sad that Mama Awolowo is dead and here's why!

President Muhammadu Buhari, is saddened that the late HID Awolowo, did not live long enough to witness the changes his administration will make to the country.

Buhari, expressed regrets that Mama Awolowo, died before her son-in-law, Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, could make impactful transformation in Nigeria.

The President said this through the Secretary to the Government of the Federation,  Babachir David Lawal, on Sunday, when he led the government’s delegation to the residence of the Awolowos, in Ikenne.

He said: "Our regret in government is that Mama did not live long enough to feel the transformation this country will undergo with the active participation of her son-in-law, with the active participation of her grand daughter.

This is something that saddens us. Had she waited well for one or two more years, I'm sure she would have left this world a very happy woman indeed, because the fulfilment of what her husband stood for would have finally come to fruition."

What 2face Idibia told Don Jazzy and D'banj at his fortyfied concert last night

Last night, at the Fortyfied concert of 2face Idibia, the music legend pleaded with Don Jazzy and D’banj to consider reuniting.

2face begged them in the name of God, to do just one more song together.

This happened right after D’banj had performed a song he did with 2face ‘I’m Feeling Good’ which was produced by Don Jazzy.

Apparently impressed by the output, 2face said to the duo: “Don Jazzy and D’banj, abeg make una do one more song, just one. I take God beg una.”

D’banj responded saying: “Sure! It’s going to happen”.

How mama died while praying for us - HID Awolowo’s daughter opens up on final moments

Chief (Mrs.) HID Awolowo, died at the of 99 on Saturday, September 19. The wife of revered Yoruba leader, Obafemi Awolowo, was said to have passed on, in the presence of her family, shortly after she had prayed for them.

Taribo West confirms that Nigerian footbllers actually use charms during match

Taribo West confirms that Nigerian footbllers actually use charms during match

Former footballer turned pastor, Taribo West, in a recent interview revealed that footballers did in fact use diabolic charms to play, hence their huge success, including himself.
“Of course yes (I was involved). I don’t know why people decline to talk about their involvement with charms. Football has to do with a lot of powers. When there are big events, you look at the stadium, you see people, fans invoking all kinds of things; magicians are there, voodooists are there.

“In my playing days, when I was ignorant, I used to get some mallams and babalawos (traditional doctors) to make charms for us, which we took to (national) camp. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t.

“In some clubs, before every game, the president or leader of the club will give you a lucky charm to play with. They will tell you to put it in your boots or socks and play. It’s their superstitious belief; that it can help them win matches.

“There are some coaches who are connected to African magicians and soothsayers from Senegal, Burkina Faso, Zaire or even Nigeria. These people are consulted to give these coaches results of games even before the matches are played.

“These people see strange things and they can tell you with their magic and charms, what the outcome of a match will be. People believe and use it. It works for those who believe in it. I saw it, I experienced it, I was with players that used it and I used it. So, why are people denying it? There are charms and rituals in football. It still exists.” he said.

Boko Haram Ambushes Buses, Kills Passengers

Boko Haram Ambushes Buses, Kills Passengers

Gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram militants on Friday resurfaced along Maiduguri-Damaturu highway, where they waylaid two passenger buses and killed scores on board, security and witnesses said.

Confirming the incident through an SMS, the Commissioner of Police, Borno State Command, Aderemi J. Opadokun, told Daily Trust that three passengers were killed in the attack.

“At about 1130hour on Friday, Boko Haram terrorists attacked a passenger vehicle at Malori village near Mainok in Kaga LGA. Two women and a man were killed. However, the situation was brought under control by troops in the area,” Opadokun said.

But an eyewitness said the victims were more than two, adding that their vehicle was able to escape the ambush.

“The gunmen who covered their faces with turbans suddenly appeared on the route, shooting a passenger bus heading to Maiduguri and another one going out of the metropolis,” he said.

“They ordered passengers on board to come down and shot some of them to death, while others ran for their lives,” he said.

KFB Only God Could Have done this: An unexpected birthday gift

KFB Only God Could Have done this: An unexpected birthday gift

I have never seen You, my Lord.

However, l know Your work  and have the assurance , o my God, that You live and exist.
When l was a toddler, l was diagnosed with a health problem.

While the doctor tried to rescue me, l developed complications in the process.  Air was said to have entered into my ribs and for over 30years l coughed persistently.

Everybody who knew me identified me with this health issue. It became embarrassment to me.
In one Sunday service, the Word of God came powerfully that l saw myself in a form of bondage that l grew tired of and l really wanted help.
That day l desired divine help, no longer wanting to manage the case.
I went back home with a new release, with high hopes.
Though, l still coughed to the other Sunday service, l danced like never before as if l had received my miracle.
I told God that my healing was the birthday gift l expected from HIM.
And truly, God heard me. It was that day the cough ceased.
Now, l am delivered.
To God be the glory. Hallelujah.
