Morning everyone. So, yesterday I visited the Hearts of Gold children's hospice and I was devastated. It was such a sad experience. I saw so many beautiful children and couldn't understand why they had to suffer so much. What got to me more was that through their illnesses they were still children, happy children that still wanted to play and boy did some of them crack me up. I must say I was very impressed with how neat they all looked shows they are well taken care of. The nurses and attendants were kind to them and very pleasant. It takes a heart of gold indeed to watch over those amazing souls. In all I'm thankful for their life cos this only means there's hope.

We serve a miracle working GOD. Guys, we all can help in so many ways volunteers, sponsor a child, support with food, diapers, wipes name it. There's so much we can do to help just one child. It costs just N15,000 a month to sponsor a child and N180,000 a year. Salaries for staff a month is N550,000 and trust me they are angels seeing them work so closely with these kids melted my heart. We can do this together it takes a kind heart to make a difference to those wonderful kids. The baby I'm carrying Prince is the cutest 9 month old ever his lashes, skin I can go on seeing his condition broke my heart literally. I'm certain GOD is working something. So guys call in, plan a visit and go see the kids. You will be happy you did.

Bobbi Kristina Became An Addict By 12, Almost Stabbed Whitney Houston

The Canadian bestselling author and investigative journalist, Ian Halperin, who is famous for digging into the lives of superstars and writing their stories is back with another possible best-seller: Whitney & Bobbi Kristina: The Deadly Price of Fame, which tells the story of what a bad mother Whitney Houston was and how Bobbi Kristina 'never stood a chance.'

The 'explosive' book states that Bobbi Kristina was already a drug addict at the age of 12. The book also claims that Whitney Houston, whose sexuality the media speculated about, exposed her daughter to drugs after Bobbi escorted her to rehab at the age of 12, and soon afterwards, Bobbi began using too. It also claims that at 15, Bobbi was admitted to a psychiatric ward after she slashed her wrists and tried to stab her mother.

To trace the history of Houston's drug use, Halperin revisited the age-long speculation that Whitney Houston could have had a sexual relationship with her former assistant and very close friend, Robyn Crawford. And to back up his claim, he quoted Bobby Brown's memoir:

"The media was accusing her of having a bisexual relationship with her assistant," Brown wrote. "In Whitney's situation, the only solution was to get married and have kids."

Halperin's book highlights similarities between how Whitney Houston died on February 11, 2012, and how her daughter was found six months ago: both were discovered in bathtubs. For Houston, she accidentally drowned in a Beverly Hills Hotel while her 22-year-old daughter was found face down in a tub of cold water.

Halperin then went on to speculate on what led to Bobbi Kristina being found unresponsive in that tub. Facts were supposedly drawn from his interviews with friends and relatives of the family. The book, Daily Mail reports, is a possible bestseller. Halperin's story on Michael Jackson (Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson) was a New York Times no. 1 bestseller.

Diezani Alison-Madueke Undergoing Breast Cancer Treatment?

That's what Sahara Reporters is reporting. Read below;

Nigeria's immediate past Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke, is undergoing a new round of treatment for breast cancer, according to a family source knowledgeable about her condition.

The source disclosed that Mrs. Alison-Madueke is currently in a hospital in London where she started a fresh round of therapy on Friday. The treatment was described as a daily therapy that will last for one week, said the source. Mrs. Alison-Madueke left Nigeria on May 23 and has not returned to Nigeria since that trip.

SaharaReporters source also disclosed that Mrs. Alison-Madueke, underwent surgery last year to remove tumors from her breast.

APC Member Yakubu Dogara, Objects To Gbajabiamila's Emergence As Speakership Candidate In Mock Poll

 

An aggrieved APC member, Yakubu Dogara who is also a strong contender of the House of Reps speakership seat, has released a statement objecting to Hon Gbajabiamila's emergence as APC's mock poll House of Representative speakership candidate. His statement below ...

We in the 8th Assembly Consolidation Group of Hon. Yakubu Dogara wish to state our position on the event of today Saturday 6th June 2015 as follows: That we got invitation for a meeting summoned by the APC leadership That we went to the meeting with the expectation the party wanted to give us last word ahead of Tuesday's inauguration of the House. However, we began to notice some moves in the hall where members supporting Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila started campaigning and soon we saw ballot papers being moved in the hall.

The National Chairman of the party Chief John Oyegun informed us that they were going to conduct a mock, straw or primary election. The 8th Assembly Consolidation Group mandated Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin to speak on our behalf. First, we read out the statement issued by our leader, President Muhammadu Buhari on the election of National Assembly leadership when he said: "It doesn't matter who the person is, where he or she comes from. There is due process for selection of leaders of National Assembly and I WILL NOT INTERFERE IN THAT PROCESS. Nigeria has indeed entered a new dispensation. My administration does not intend to repeat the same mistakes made by previous governments." We then told Chief Oyegun that it is either he is disagreeing with the President, undermining his stance, or does not agree that the president is the leader of the party. Secondly, we informed the party that the remaining two aspirants in the race for the Speaker are of the APC since no PDP member is contesting for the position.

We should therefore be allowed to sort it out among ourselves on Tuesday. Thirdly, if we were coming for election we ought to have been notified well ahead. We therefore view this as an ambush, manipulative and indicative of the fact that the party leadership came with a predetermined position which was skewed to favour Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila. Fourthly, we also informed the APC leadership that the process they were about doing was contrary to the provisions of the party's constitution which did not prescribe that a primary election be conducted for the Speakership, contrary to the provisions of the House Standing Orders and above all, contrary to the provisions of the 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The next Speaker of the House should be allowed to be elected in tandem with the constitution. Consequently, we demanded that the process be delayed with at least 24 hours to enable us to prepare and mobilise our members. After raising these objections, the national chairman Chief Oyegun did not respond to any of the points raised. Initially, the chairman agreed to halt the process but one hour later the National Vice Chairman North Senator Lawal Shuaibu came up and said the process must go on whether we like it or not. At this stage we had no option than to walkout of the hall and address the press. The election of the House Speaker is not an exclusivity of the APC but include all members from all political parties. Our position is that we are not a party to what they did and we maintain that the election of the Speaker of the House of Representatives cannot be conducted outside the chamber of the House and we are ready to participate in that process on Tuesday 9th June, 2015.

Prince George And Princess Charlotte Of Cambridge, New Pictures Released

A series of photos of Prince George and his sister Princess Charlotte have been released by Kensington Palace.

The four pictures show the princess being cradled by her elder sibling as they sit on a cream couch at Anmer Hall in Norfolk, their family home with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

The pictures were taken by Catherine just weeks after Princess Charlotte was born on 2 May.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their children have been at Anmer Hall since leaving London shortly after the birth of the princess.

Prince William and Catherine are expected to be based there for the next few years as they raise Princess Charlotte and Prince George, who is almost two, with the help of a full-time nanny.

Photography is listed as one of the duchess's hobbies in her biography on the royal website. The pictures were taken on a Canon EOS 5D Mark II camera.

The first official images of Prince George, released in 2013, were taken by the duchess's father, Michael Middleton, in the garden of their home in Bucklebury, Berkshire.

Last Friday 5th of May, it was announced Princess Charlotte will be christened on 5 July.

The christening will take place at St Mary Magdalene Church at the Queen's Sandringham estate.
