A man has gotten his hand chopped off during a violent clash between two notorious gangs popularly called 'Yan-daba' in Jos, Plateau State.

Following a violent clash between two notorious gangs popularly called 'Yan-daba' in a community in Jos, the Plateau State capital, a young man has had his hand chopped off.

It was gathered that the injured guy was later rushed to a hospital by his friends after the incident.

Yan-daba are a criminal gang known to use dangerous weapons such as daggers to intimidate members of their communities.
