Nigerian tourist found dead in pool

A 26-year-old Nigerian man was found dead in a hotel swimming in the Mackenzie area, Larnaca, police said on Thursday.

Police have ruled out foul play.

The man was found by a hotel guest at around 1pm.

He was pulled out of the pool and taken to hospital where doctors confirmed his death.

The man was in Cyprus for holidays.

The exact cause of death will be determined by a post mortem.
