PAUL OKOYE REVEALS THE TRUTH BEHIND THE PSQUARE SPLIT, BEGS BROTHER TO COME BACK

PAUL OKOYE REVEALS THE TRUTH BEHIND THE PSQUARE SPLIT, BEGS BROTHER TO COME BACK

 Paul Okoye

Popular musician and one half of the Psquare duo, Paul Okoye, has spoken up as to why his brother Jude, should not be blamed for the problems the brothers are having S

Paul Okoye took to Instagram to put to rest the rumour that ‘former’ Psquare manager and their elder brother, Jude ‘Engees’ Okoye, was the reason the musical duo are having issues. According to Paul, the real issues were between him and his twin brother peter, and that Jude has always been the ‘glue that holds them together’.

Paul seized the opportunity to send a heartfelt message to his brother, Peter, asking him to forgive and forget.

Paul shared a picture of him singing with tears running down his face, with the caption below: “All you all want is psquare,…all I want is family, love and care!!! Social media is the new root of all evil!! There’s family before Psquare and there will always be family after PSquare ….Jude was only a scape goat and a victim .The person who has been keeping us together for all these years,..the truth is peter and Paul have issues!.

For the first time I decided to do something outside Psquare, and that is the case study here. I have always supported my brother 100% from His personal endorsements, to dance with Peter which some re still on my I.g…
Now I have just 3 questions….Why is it that these things are happening immediately I released muno’s singles under rudeboy Recordz. no.2 .. How come after jude stopped managing psquare for over a month now, the problem still exist.

No.3 why is he in a hurry to go solo and doing solo? it’s very sad, and very heart broken😢 I wish these things never came out to the public at first… Now our fans are divided 😢 pls nobody shld support any teamPaul sh*t, I don’t need that.. Pls resist from it cos thats evil…and for those of you promoters, supporting him to be performing psquare’s songs alone on stage, you are only killing us and destroying us the more.

Dear brother am begging you ,even if you don’t want Jude anymore and you don’t want psquare, u re forever going to be my brother … But I wish the 3 of us could still do these together, bcos its a thing of joy….people love us so much not only because of our good music but seeing brothers doing it together and keeping it together, setting a good example to other families and to our kids.

Pls swallow ur pride, forgive and forget, we can still turn these things around…. If I have said anything or done anything that hurts you. Am very sorry…. And to all our true fans pls pray for us. God bless you all.”

HOW I ESCAPED R*PE’MERCY SALMA AMINU, ACTRESS

HOW I ESCAPED R*PE’MERCY SALMA AMINU, ACTRESS

Mercy Salma Aminu

Former model and now actress, Mercy Salma Aminu, came into acting less than a decade ago. But she seems to have seen it all, having experienced the good, the bad and the ugly sides of Nollywood. In this chat with TONY OGAGA & NNEKA UCHE, the Kogi State-born graduate of English Literature from the University of Abuja opens up on her career, dreams and how she narrowly escaped r*pe. Excerpts:

Let’s talk about growing up, how many are you in the family?

I am from a polygamous home. My mother is the second wife and I am the second born of the family and last born of my mom. We are only two from my mom. It was fun growing up. My siblings and I lived like one happy family and there was never division among us. You’d never believe we were from a polygamous home.

How did you come into acting?

Wow! I used to do commercial modeling. There was a day we had a show at Bolingo Hotel, Abuja, and someone just walked up to me, saying he needed me to feature in his movie. I was like ‘wow! I’ve never acted my entire life (laughter). But he’s like ‘I saw your attitude on the runway and you have what it takes to be a successful actress’. That was how I did my first movie acting alongside legendary Sam Loco in 2008. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Eight years after, how would you describe your experience in Nollywood?

Hmmm… I’ve experienced the good, the bad and the ugly. I had an experience where a director wanted to take advantage of me. Let me just end it there because the details are not pleasant. But I must confess that the general impression that the industry is a place where you see all manners of dirty stuff flying around is probably true. But I think it applies to people who don’t know their onions, because we have a lot of talented people in the industry.

So, how did you react when it happened?

I was mad at him. At first, I was going to keep it to myself but I was like ‘no, this could have ended in r*pe if it had happened’. It was a terrible experience. I think that was one of the things that made me stay back for a while as far as acting is concerned. But I had to come back and was like ‘if this is happening in the movie industry, it can happen anywhere. If I can’t stand this here, I won’t be able to stand my ground anywhere else’.

You stood your ground?

Yea, I had a terrible fight with him. The next day, he victimised me on set. He kept cutting the shots and making me repeat my lines, and it set me back emotionally. He was trying to break my confidence. Eventually, we couldn’t shoot so I rushed to my room and cried my eyes out. However, it was my first movie and I eventually got to act my role till the end and it came out well.

Are you friends today?

Yes, he apologised years later. We didn’t talk for like two years but when I came back, he apologised.

You’re a pretty girl; tell us about the man in your life?

Oh my God! Okay, let me answer. I had a relationship and it’s just ended. But I’m trying to build one now.

What led to the break up?

I love to be respected. I respect you and I expect that you respect me in return. You’re into my business and I want to be into your business. He relocated out of the country without letting me know, but when he finally settled down, he wanted me to relocate as well. The annoying thing was that he’s a movie director. He can direct from anywhere in the world because he is already known, but as for me, I can’t; I have to stay here and build my brand. He didn’t bother to plan with me and when he traveled, he started working my papers so I could join him, and I’m like ‘hello, things are not done that way. You didn’t put me into your plans; you didn’t even ask me if I’m okay with it’. It didn’t just go down well with me, and besides, I was facing a couple of challenges, so we just packed it up.

How did you handle the break up?

We dated for four years. It wasn’t easy at all because I found him in everything I did. When I talked to people, I talked about him. When I talked about my career, I talked about him. He was very much into me. There was no situation I wanted to talk about that he didn’t pop up. If I wanted to talk about my career, he’s there. If I wanted to talk about an event or my private life, he’s there. It was tough. Even now, we’re talking about him again (laughter).

Could you date an ugly guy?

Yes I could. I don’t care about physical looks.
You spoke glowingly about growing up in a polygamous home, based on your experience, could you become second wife?

No, my dad is a Moslem and I’m a Christian so there is no room for that.
Are you making money from acting?

To an extent, I’d say yes. You see, as an up-and-coming actress, it’s difficult to really make ends meet just from acting; you have to do something else.

Tell us about your most challenging role?

Drift Beyond Conscience is my most challenging because I had some health issues and I stressed myself out and almost passed out on set. They had to give me a 20-minute break to rest after a scene where I engaged in a fight. And then at some point, during the ‘fight’ I just felt gasping for breath.

Where will we see Salma in the next five years?
I’m going to be a household name, and my name is going to be on everybody’s lips, including kids.

PRESIDENT Buhari Stop Using CHANGE To Cover Up, Be Careful – Bishop Ibezim

PRESIDENT Buhari Stop Using CHANGE To Cover Up, Be Careful – Bishop Ibezim

Dr. Alexander Chibuzor Ibezim

Anglican Bishop of Awka Diocese, Dr. Alexander Chibuzor Ibezim, on Thursday put the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari on a scale and declared that his performance was not impressive at all.

The eminent clergyman asserted that the economy was collapsing under the Federal Government led by President Buhari.

In an interview with The AUTHORITY, Bishop Ibezim lamented that the high level of hunger in the country had made life miserable for most Nigerians.

He therefore appealed to Buhari to declare a state of emergency on the economy in order to tackle the growing poverty in the land before it gets out of hand. Bishop Ibezim, who spoke with The AUTHORITY at his Paul University’s office, Awka, Anambra State, asserted that businesses had collapsed while ordinary Nigerians were yet to feel the impact of Buhari’s change mantra.

His words: “There is too much hunger in the country and people are angry; the last time I travelled, at the airport you could see sad faces and parents who have children abroad cannot send money to them.

“The naira is falling, hardship is severe among the people, flexible economic measures are needed, and for us in the church, we see all manner of people and pray for them for goodness and mercy to follow them.

They go to their places of work and there is no mercy there. As a church leader, will you be happy? And businessmen will tell you that the goods they are importing are not allowed to be cleared at the airport or seaport or they want to clear them but the duties are too high.

“They (businessmen) are no longer making profits because businesses everywhere are dull. They (Federal Government) need to do something because they came with the change mantra; the people are waiting to see that change. It is our prayer that the change will come quickly.

“They should also know that all the energy of the government should not be focused on fighting corruption because it is not all Nigerians that are corrupt. The percentage of those that are corrupt may be one percent.
“So, you don’t have to leave the 99 percent to be suffering because you are pursuing the one percent that are corrupt.

The traders in the market which act of corruption are they involved in?” he asked. Bishop Ibezim recalled that Nigerians, especially those from the South East, suffered a lot during the 1967-1970 Civil War, adding that no right thinking person will like to fight a civil war again.

Apparently referring to the ongoing agitations for a Biafra State, the cleric said: “In fact, after the Civil War, it took Ndigbo a long time to adjust, because I stumbled on the documents when I was doing my Doctorate degree at the North Western University Africana Library that nearly millions of Ndigbo were killed during the Nigerian/Biafran War.”

“There was no family in the Eastern Bloc that did not lose a member during the war. So, no right thinking person will like blood to flow again in our land.

Then on the other hand, when people are reacting, it is important that their leaders listen to them. The governors must be ready to listen to the grievances of the people.

Are we not practising democracy? And democracy, you know, is government of the people, by the people and for the people and that is what we need in Nigeria.”

The Economic Crisis is A Blessing – Buhari

The Economic Crisis is A Blessing – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari states the present economic crisis afflicting the nation is a blessing in disguise.

Buhari said this at the opening ceremony of the International Islamic Conference on Peace and Nation Building in Abuja on Thursday.
The President said that through the hardship, Nigerians would be able to come up with ideas that would in turn lead to development.

He said, “The global economic challenges the world is grappling with today might well turn out to be a blessing for us in Nigeria, because it will stimulate the latent economic opportunities that we have left untapped for decades.

“Poverty breeds disaffection, which in turn leads to crime and lawlessness including confrontation against the State. To checkmate this, we must work hard to lift our economy, engage our youth and rebuild infrastructure.
“We can only achieve these with the full cooperation of all Nigerians and under a stable polity. We are determined to do this and we shall not be deterred.

”Buhari lamented the level of official corruption in the nation, adding that it led to many years of hardship for Nigerians. He, however, promised to do everything possible to curb the menace.

While declaring the conference open, the President commended the Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’a Wa Iqamatis Sunna and the Muslim World League for the event at a time when the nation is grappling with insecurity.

Buhari, who described Boko Haram as a mindless terrorist organisation, said the Federal Government was winning the fight against insurgency.

He said once the war is over, the government would commission a sociological study to determine the origin, the remote and immediate causes of the movement, its sponsors, its international connections if any, to ensure that measures are taken to prevent a resurgence.

Soldiers Seize Pro-Biafra Newspapers in Aba

Soldiers Seize Pro-Biafra Newspapers in Aba

Pro-Biafra Newspapers

A group of soldiers considered to be linked to the 144 Battalion, Asa, Ukwa West local council, Abia State, yesterday invaded a newspaper office along St. Michael’s Road, Aba and grabbed copies from vendors.

anguard gathered that the confiscated papers were both unsold and new editions of New Republic, Vesym, Freedom Journal and some copies of Authority newspapers.

Eyewitnesses told Vanguard that the soldiers that arrived in two Hilux vans in the area which serves as the hub of newspaper business in Aba, at about 7am and confiscated newspapers bearing pro-Biafra stories.
According to the eyewitnesses, the soldiers packed the unsold and current editions of the said papers into their vans and left the place and vowed to arrest the publishers of the various newspapers.

“At about some minutes past seven, soldiers in two Hilux vans arrived this place (St. Michael’s) with one of the vendors asking to know who publishes or supplies the newspapers. The newspapers they confiscated were New Republic, Vesym, Freedom Journal and some copies of Authority newspapers that carried Biafra stories.

They packed all of them into their van and promised to come back,” the eye witnesses said. A publisher, who would not want to be mentioned in an interview with journalists however, condemned the action of the military, and denied that pro Biafra newspapers incite hatred among the people.
According to him, the military are overstepping their bounds and vowed that “No amount of efforts by the military to gag the press will work.

We are publishing reports about Biafra like other national dailies do. Let the military go and close down all the media houses because they are carrying Biafra stories, after all, we are not the only people publishing stories on Biafra.”

Efforts to contact the Public Relations Officer, 14Brigade, Major Sydney Mbaneme, proved abortive but a highly placed source at 144 Battalion who confirmed the seizure of the said newspaper publication said that they carried out such exercise because of the hate and inciting reports allegedly being published by the papers.

The source added that the Army was determined to stop the circulation of these newspapers through the arrest of the publishers and vendors, accusing them of inciting hatred among Nigerians.

NNPC Made No Dollar Remittance To Federation Account For 8 Months

NNPC Made No Dollar Remittance To Federation Account For 8 Months

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation NNPC has taken all the profits it made from oil and gas exports since April, 2015 to service Joint Venture (JV) Cash Call funding, implying, according to the report, a zero remittance to Federation Account from its operations.

The oil company report made available yesterday showed that it’s losses rose to N255.28 billion from N240.98bn recorded in October. The firm’s loss for the month of November alone was N14.29bn up from N12.22bn recorded in October.

For instance, in November, the corporation recorded $402.55 million as proceeds from Crude oil sales, LPG, NLNG Feedstock as well as miscellaneous receipts.

It diverted all the $402.55 million receipts to fund JV Cash Call obligation. It said the $402.55m even fell short of the $615.8m monthly requirement to fund its JV cash call.
A total of N255.28bn was lost by the NNPC between January and November this year, latest figures from the firm’s monthly financial and operations report for November 2015 have shown.
The last remittance to the Federation Account by the corporation was $184.9bn in April.

59.6% of the losses were attributed to mainly claimable pipeline repairs/management cost of N95.37bn, crude and product losses of N56.68bn due to vandalized pipelines.

The corporate headquarters of the oil firm posted the heaviest loss till date with N153.32bn. Its product supply and distribution arm, the Pipelines and Products Marketing Company (PPMC) posted N69.60bn while all the three refineries are listed to have lost over N70bn till date.
Like in October, the refineries also recorded zero capacity utilisation in the month of November just as they recorded a loss of N7.21 billion for the latest month.

“Total crude processed by the three refineries for the month of November 2015 was zero,” the report said.

NNPC blamed the continued decline on oil price and consequent deterioration in crude oil and gas receipt as the major reasons for the shortfall and subsequent non- remittance to the federation account.

The report said, “Total export crude oil and gas receipt for the period of January – November 2015 is $4.54 billion. Of the total receipts, the sum of $0.61 billion was remitted to Federation Account while the balance of $3.94 billion was used to fund the JV Cash Call for the period. Thus JV funding has gulped more than 86% of the proceeds”

Giving explanations for the decline, it said, “The deterioration in Crude Oil and Gas receipt is in response to continued decline in oil price. Thus the proceeds are no longer sufficient to service the JV Cash Call obligation and remit to Federation Account. JV cash call is a first line charge to Federation Account and 2015 Approved Budget requires monthly funding of about $615.8m.

APC CRISIS: THE GRUDGES IS OVER WITH KWANKWASO — KANO GOV, GANDUJE

APC CRISIS: THE GRUDGES IS OVER WITH KWANKWASO — KANO GOV, GANDUJE

Rift between Ganduje and Kwankwaso

The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has stepped into the confrontation between Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State and his former boss, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, over control of the party structure in the state.

Ganduje  was at the Presidential Villa, Abuja yesterday for a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari. He told reporters at the end of the parley that all was now well between him and the former governor.

He said: “The situation is under control, it is an in-house problem which is under control. We are talking about it. Yes, reconciliation is ongoing and it will work. We have been together for long. We are politically brothers and friends. Therefore, we will make sure that we don’t allow things to continue to fall apart.

Their face-off featured all week in the media following Kwankwaso’s visit to Kano last weekend to condole with the governor on the death of his mother. Trouble broke out after the state government alleged that people suspected to be Kwankwaso’s supporters brandished dangerous weapons and harassed innocent  people during Kwankwaso’s visit. The APC leadership in the state also issued a statement strongly condemning Kwankwaso and threatened to suspend him.

The former governor disowned the thugs and accused the state government of whipping up sentiments against him.

The State House of Assembly joined the fray by passing a resolution in support of Ganduje as the leader of the APC in the state.

Asked yesterday whether he would  continue to wear the red cap, which is Kwankwaso’s trademark and mostly worn by his supporters, Ganduje said: “What are you seeing on my head now?”

NIGERIA SENDS 14 FOREIGNERS TO PRISON OVER ILLEGAL OIL DEAL

NIGERIA SENDS 14 FOREIGNERS TO PRISON OVER ILLEGAL OIL DEAL

Foreign oil thieves sent to prison – Justice Ibrahim Buba of a Federal High Court in Lagos on Friday convicted 14 foreigners of dealing in petroleum products in Nigeria without lawful authority.

The judge found them guilty of dealing in 1,738.087 metric tons of petroleum product in Nigeria without lawful authority or licence as alleged by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

Justice Buba sentenced 11 out of the 14 convicted foreigners to two years imprisonment with an option to a pay a fine of N2m each.

The judge said the sentence would run from last year March when they were apprehended by the Nigerian Navy and handed over to the EFCC.

Justice Buba, however, sentenced the remaining three convicts who had jumped bail and absconded to five years imprisonment without an option of fine.

The three convicts who jumped bail are Russians.

The judge convicted and sentenced them in absentia and issued a warrant for their arrest, emphasising that their jail term would commence on whatever day they are re-arrested.

The judge ordered the forfeiture of the petroleum products and the vessel into which they were loaded to the Federal Government.

He ordered the two companies convicted alongside with the foreigners to pay N5m fine on each of the five counts levelled against them.

The EFCC had on June 10, 2015 arraigned the 14 convicts on four counts before Justice Buba.

The charge was later amended with the counts increased to five.

The convicts were arraigned alongside their vessel – MT Anukt Emerald, and two companies – Monjasa DMCC, and Glencore Energy UK Ltd.

Their names, as listed on the charge sheet, are Artur Pakhladzhian, Sergo Abbgarian, Vasily Shkundich, vitaliy Bilours, Hlarion Regipor, Laguta Oleksiy and Cadavis Gerarado.

Others are Kretov Andry, Badurian Benjamin, Chepikov Olksan, Naranjo Antero, Patro Christian, Alcayde Joel and Caratiquit Beyan.

They were identified as citizens of Russia, Ukraine, Philippine and Japan.

The prosecutor, Mr. Rotimi Oyedepo, had told the court that the men were handed over to the EFCC by the Nigerian Navy, which on March 27, 2015 intercepted them with their vessel, MT Anukpet Emerald, loaded with crude oil estimated at 1,738.087 metric tons.

The foreigners were equally said to have been found in unlawful possession of 1,500 metric tons of Automated Gas Oil as well as 3,035 metric tons of Low Pour Fuel Oil.

They had pleaded not guilty and were granted a bail of N50m each, which was guaranteed by Zenith Bank Plc.

Upon the disappearance of the three Russians, the court had subsequently ordered Zenith Bank to forfeit N150m to the Federal Government.

To prove the allegations against the convicts, Oyedepo called seven witnesses, while the defendants, through their lawyer, Mr. Babajide Koku (SAN), called three witnesses.

In his judgment on Friday, Justice Buba said he was satisfied that the prosecution proved its case against the defendants beyond reasonable doubts, adding that had no difficulty in convicting them on all the five counts preferred against them.

Upon their conviction, the defence counsel, Koku, urged the court to temper justice with mercy, saying the convicts were young men in their prime, who had no previous records of conviction.

Koku said the 11 convicts who were in court were only employees carrying out the instruction of their employer and were not privy to the deal.

“We plead for mercy, My Lord. Abraham Lincoln said, ‘I have always found that mercy bears richer fruits than strict justice.’ The convicts are young men in the prime of their lives. They have no family ties in Nigeria. In fact, the convicts here are not the ones in control of the ship. They can at best be described as the laymen of the crew,” Koku said.

Quoting James 2:3 from the Bible and making reference to the Quran, Koku urged the judge to allow mercy to triumph over judgment.

On his own part, Oyedepo said the EFCC had found no previous conviction record on the convicts.

He urged the judge to “invoke the spirit behind Section 1(17) of the Miscellaneous Offences Act,” in sentencing them.

The secret love letter that Ese Oruru wrote to her lover/abductor, Yunusa surfaces online

The secret love letter that Ese Oruru wrote to her lover/abductor, Yunusa surfaces online

Yanusa & Ese

Fresh revelations have suggested that a sort of intimacy could have existed between Ese Oruru and Yunusa Dahiru (a.k.a Yellow) before the abduction saga.
Yunusa, in an interview shortly after his arraignment had claimed responsibility for the five-month old pregnancy Ese is carrying, noting that the girl’s mother, Mrs. Rose Oruru was aware of their relationship before the alleged abduction incident.

Though Mrs. Oruru had denied the involvement of Ese and Yunusa in any love relationship, a letter exclusively obtained by Saturday Sun from an impeccable source, indicates that the two may have had something together. In the undated letter, which authenticity could not be verified as at Press Time, Ese had professed love to Yunusa, disclosing she had refused friendship requests from four other Hausa boys.

Ese also revealed in the letter the three conditions Yunusa required from her in the bid to cement their love affair.
In the letter, Ese had disclosed that Yunusa asked for three things, including following him to Kano; drop her Christian religion for Islam and love only him.

She entitled the letter, ‘Pls read & reply me Inusa’.
Attempts to run the letter by Ese proved abortive. When our reporter got to her family house, it was learnt that members of the family had relocated and were under protective custody in an undisclosed location.
The alleged unedited letter below

Dear, Inusa how are you? I hope you are fine and all is well with you? Please don’t be annoyed by these words but I think it is best for the both of us. Please please please don’t be annoyed I beg of you Inusa, maybe everyone just have to say the truth.
I want to start by saying thank you for everything if accepted, thank you yanzu, I would say I now know what is going on which you never wanted to tell me but I will say that is not fair.
When I started selling here, I met Abubakar who once told me that he had fellings for me but I can never send because I did not have fellings for him, so I turned him down. Then again I met Genedu and I also turned him down. Now, it is Dantata which everybody knows that he loves me dearly but I find a lot of faults in him and don’t love him back. He has done his best to stay down and beg about one year now, if I am right, I will never lie to you Inusa. Dantata has been begging me to love him back but as soon as I wanted to fall for him you came back into my life. I still know that Dantata is still waiting for me only if I will accept him.
Inusa I now know that you also love me and I have decided to love you back. I love you Inusa but sometimes I do think Dantata is still seeking. My name as know by myself is RITA and my main problem is that if I love you (Inusa) and you also love me what will become of us. You once told me you like me more than anyone else, but now I have seen how far you have gone in this case because it is very serious to me.
You asked me to help you in just three ways in which you said:
Follow me to my village – Kano State
Leave your religion for mine – Christian & Muslim
It is only you I love and no other person
I have already accepted the first quest then while decide to tell me that you cannot take me along with you the same day it is very unfair. Inusa why, just tell me why you decide to be unfair.
Well Inusa there were many other Hausa boys who asked for friendship but did not get it. I had so many people who I have lived with do you know what it means to live the people you had lived with for 13 good years of life.
Think on me Inusa please
I beg of you Inusa please
Think on me
My heart bit immediately or anytime I see you if you know how much I love you you will not think about hurting my fellings
I still stand by you Inusa, yeallo yellow my best colour but one question who made you think.
I write this because I am sick and tired of this baldadash I hear everyday.

How I Feel When People Talk About My Massive Boobs - Actress Foluke Daramola

How I Feel When People Talk About My Massive Boobs - Actress Foluke Daramola

Foluke Daramola

Heavy-chested Nollywood actress, Foluke Daramola, who is currently married, has granted a recent interview on her lifestyle, movies and others.

Foluke Daramola-Salako is an actress of note and a humanitarian. The full-figured actress, cum producer, in this interview with Angela Davies, talks about her marriage, career and style.

What is your latest movie?

My latest movie is titled Cobweb. Incidentally, my husband featured in it as well. He made his debut as an actor and executive producer.

The Cobweb is an intriguing story which will always attract the love and passion of every typical African family for the purpose of learning that the wish of destiny over who and what a child becomes in life can always supersede that of parental domination, force and probably undue influence most times.

The movie features stars like Funsho Adeolu, Uti Nwachukwu, Saidi Balogun, Princess 2p, Dele Odule, Ayo Adesanya and a host of others. It is coming out in October by God’s grace.

You are glowing, what is the secret?

Well, peace of mind and thank God, I have the right man beside me. I have a friend beyond us being husband and wife. He is a friend that someone can relate with.

If you have a friend in your man, you don’t need any other friend outside. Having the right kind of man is in true friendship and I think God has blessed me with that.

What is marriage like for you now?

How I Feel When People Talk About My Massive Boobs - Actress Foluke Daramola

Foluke Daramola and her hubby

Does your husband sometimes feel jealous that you get all the attention being a celebrity when you attend events together?

Sometimes, jokingly he says maybe in another life, he will like to become a star like me. He does not have a complex problem. My husband can deal with a man toasting me; he will just smile because he trusts me.

And I gist him a lot about who my toaster is and he will laugh over it and says he hopes somebody will not take away his wife. But it is just the fact that we are friends, we can share any and everything.

Even if he admires a lady, he will tell me, ‘Foluke that lady is cute, what do you think?’ So, it is beyond marriage. Marriage is not supposed to be rigid; it is supposed to be a relaxed thing. That way, you will both enjoy it. My husband can be sweet and he can be firm.

Sometimes when we go out together and I am hasty with my fans, he will say, ‘what is wrong with you? I told you to smile, you should always force a smile, they are your fans and they appreciate you.’ So, he is like my teacher in that regard. At the end of the day, he is one person who has been able to push my career positively.

How would you define your style?

My style depends on my mood. I wear more of jeans because I am a casual person. I have always been a tomboy since I was young. I am more of a matured dresser now and I guess it goes with age.

Earlier in my school days, I used to be the one to expose everything. But now, aside being older, the fact is that I am more matured and I am a mother.

So you are saying people will be seeing less of the exposures?

Definitely. I want to do a bit of mentoring to the younger generation. And because I want to do that, I don’t want them having the wrong ideas about being a celebrity.

When I was much younger, people use to say Foluke Daramola exposes her boobs and all that. But now, I think I am more grown. Also, my daughter is becoming a teenager and I don’t want her having the wrong ideas about who her mother is.

I want her to grow up like a responsible young lady as well. So I have to set the pace to give her the right direction.

How do you feel when people associate you with your boobs?

It pains me because there is a whole lot to me than just the boobs and entertainment. I am an intellectual. I am one person who relate with education, but unfortunately or fortunately, I will say that people just think about Foluke and the next thing they think about are my boobs. I count it as an asset and I have grown to just appreciate it the way it is.

Your dressing has changed positively. But how does your husband love to see you dress?

My husband is not the type that would want me to look old school. Sometimes, he wants me to look sexy, sometimes he wants me to wear bump short, but that is when I am around him.

And he never complains about what I wear or what I do, but I am the one who knows the limit because of what I want to represent.

This is your second marriage. What advice will you give to young, single ladies?

First and foremost, they should not rush into marriage. Sometimes you should be complete in yourself first. When I got married and I missed it the first time, I didn’t want to get married again because I felt that I already have two kids. But I discovered that if you can actually be complete in yourself and be yourself, you will enjoy that companion.

We all have our misdeed, but it’s just for us to face the positive, ignore the negative and be able to respect each other. There are challenges, no doubt. Like my husband and I argue sometimes, but then it is about the fact that we understand that it is beyond just being married, but having true friendship. So, single ladies should be complete in themselves first.

What is your advice for women who face domestic violence and still stay in the marriage?

I am an advocate against domestic violence. I always tell my husband at every given opportunity that if any man dares raise his hands to touch me or abuse me in any way, I will not be ashamed to walk out of that marriage.

I have been a victim of something like that in the past and I knew the effect it had on me. I had low esteem of myself and I didn’t have any hope for the future. It is like you are dead, alive.

It is better for you to walk out of that marriage to discover yourself. It is better for you to be alone and be the true value of what you are supposed to be than for you to be somewhere hurting yourself and dying gradually.

What has life taught you?

Life has taught me that there is nothing you can compromise than your happiness. And then, it is good to be able to impact into humanity.

How about your signature perfume?

It is a combination of a whole lot of perfumes. I combine like 10 perfumes because I don’t want people to know exactly what I am wearing.

Are you a shoe freak?

I am a shoe and purse person, but more of a wristwatch person. My favourite designer is Michael Korrs. I can buy up to 15 Michael Korrs fashion items at a time. That is how much I like this designer.

FlyDubai Airplane Crashes in Russia; See the Huge Number of Casualties (Photos)

A passenger jet circled a southern Russian airport in high winds and poor visibility before making a second, fatal attempt at landing Saturday, killing all 62 people aboard.

A fatal plane crash resulting in several deaths has occurred in Russia with emergency services currently in place to attend to families of the victims.

The flydubai Boeing 737 jet crashed at the Rostov-on-Don airport after traveling from Dubai. All those on board died, authorities said. Officials believe bad weather, which kept the plane from reattempting landing for more than two hours, likely caused the crash.

Emergency services on ground

The jet was carrying 55 passengers and seven crew members when it crashed, Emergencies Minister Vladimir Puchkov said. It was scheduled to land at 1:20 a.m. local time (6:20 p.m. ET), but went down at 3:50 a.m. (8:50 p.m. ET ), he said.

The airport is closed, and medics and psychologists are on standby to assist family members, he said.

About 700 people are involved in the rescue operation, the Ministry of Emergency Situations said. The crash site is 800 feet (243 meters) from the airport runway, it said.

The ministry said investigators had ruled out terrorism as a cause of the crash at this stage and weather conditions were most-likely responsible.
Emergency staff found one of the plane's flight recorders amongst the wreckage, state news reported.

The plane's pilot circled the airport, waiting for the weather to clear before making a second attempt to land, but the aircraft's tail had clipped the runway, it said.

State media reported winds of 97 kph (60 mph) at the time of the crash.

The Russian Investigative Committee has launched an investigation, and is considering three potential causes, state-run Ria Novosti news agency reported.

"Different versions of the incident are being investigated, including crew error, technical failure, bad weather and other factors," it quoted committee chief Vladimir Markin as saying.

Workers at the crash scene have both of the plane's flight data recorders and one of two voice recorders, Ria Novosti reported.

20-year-old Girl Allegedly Bites Neighbour to Death in Ebute-Metta, Lagos (Photo)

20-year-old Girl Allegedly Bites Neighbour to Death in Ebute-Metta, Lagos (Photo)

The accused, Ogbonna Onyinyechi

A young lady is currently being held in police custody after being accused of biting a man to death after a fracas occurred between them.

A 20-year-old girl identified as Ogbonna Onyinyechi who allegedly bit one Engineer Pius Ezema to death at 15, Ondo Street, Okobaba in Ebute Metta area of Lagos state, has revealed what led to the incident.

The suspect who has been in detention at Denton Police Station since the incident which occurred on March 12, said Pius quarrelled with her for singing loudly near his window in the ‘face-me-I -face-you’ apartment where they lived as next door neighbours.

The argument was said to have developed into a fierce fight which led to biting and the eventual death of the victim two days after. But Onyinyechi, narrating what transpired between her and the deceased to National Mirror, said she did not kill her neighbour as alleged.

According to her, she only defended herself from the deceased’s brutal attack.

“Pius is not my boyfriend and he had never asked me out. He has a fiancée and they were planning to get married in July this year.

“After the beating I received from him that morning, I became too scared to sleep in my room alone. That night, I went to my friend’s house to sleep.

“I came back on March 14, two days after he fought me and I learnt that Pius was dead. I was shocked. I asked our neighbours who killed him? How did he die? They told me that Pius did not come out of his room the previous day and his brother was worried as he could not reach him on his mobile phone so he decided to check him in his room.

“They said the brother knocked and knocked but Pius did not answer. They attempted to break his door but still he did not respond. When they finally forced his door opened, they found him laying face up and foaming from his mouth.

“My neighbours told me that I killed Pius with my bite. I was confused. I don’t know what they were talking about. Some neighbours told me to run away but I refused since I know that I did not poison
him.

“The police later came from Denton Police station and arrested me. They said my teeth was poisonous and caused Pius’ death.

“I don’t intend to kill Pius. I am a Catholic and I forgave him all he did to me. I want police and government to carry out an autopsy on Pius and they should conduct medical examination on my teeth. I don’t know why I am in this mess but God will see me through,” she stated.

Meanwhile, police sources reportedly said the case is still under investigations and the suspect will be charged to court upon conclusion of investigation.

Following his brother's (Paul Okoye) plea this morning, it appears Peter Okoye has had a change of heart. He shared a promotional photo of their show in Netherland.

The Psquare brothers have dramatically squashed their beef and are set to perform together in Europe giving their fans the impression that the break-up was all a publicity stunt to get the attention of Nigerians.

It affirms the conclusion they are back on. Several fans feel their rift was staged as the reconciliation was suddenly followed by the announcement of their international performance at the Ahoy Rotterdam 2016 event scheduled for the 26th of March, 2016.
