Kafayat Adegoke: Lesbian Tricks Man Into Getting Her Pregnant Because IVF Is More Expensive Then She DUMPS Him!

Kafayat Adegoke: Lesbian Tricks Man Into Getting Her Pregnant Because IVF Is More Expensive Then She DUMPS Him!

Kafayat Adegoke

One woman, Kafayat Adegoke, 30, from Bradford, West Yorks, could not afford to spend on IVF to have a child so she thought out what can be referred to as the ‘mother of all deceptions.’

She schemed her way into getting pregnant by any man who could get her pregnant after the mature student had drawn up a wishlist of characteristics she wanted in her child. Meanwhile, the man would never know that all she was after was a child then she would dump him. Kafayat is due to have her baby in June and ofcourse, she is in a lesbian relationship.

She said: “Ever since I was a little girl I have yearned for a baby. I looked into IVF and surrogacy but they both seemed quite expensive. I also felt IVF was unnatural.

“I thought logically and what I needed was a sperm donor and there were plenty of these walking the streets and I could take my pick.

“I decided to pretend I was straight and trick a man into getting me pregnant.”

Meanwhile, continue reading the story below as it was on Mirror.

With meticulous planning, she held off sleeping with her new dates until she had thoroughly quizzed them about their family background, medical history and even their blood group.

She dated three men – one she met in Nando’s, a jogger she befriended in a park and finally a work colleague.

Last autumn, after a year of hunting for her version of Mr Right, her plan finally paid off when she got pregnant by a man she had been seeing for two months.

Kafayat Adegoke schemed her way into getting pregnant by a man and dumped him the moment she realized she was pregnant. She then continued with her lesbian relationship
Kafayat, from Bradford, West Yorks, then ended the relationship and barred the “sperm donor” from the child’s life.

Instead, the cash-strapped user of men is hopeful that, as a single mum, she will get a council house and benefits .

Kafayat, who is currently dating 26-year-old Aisha Atan, said: “I have always wanted to be a mum.

“As a gay woman, surrogacy or IVF were options but I couldn’t afford these and they seemed too way too much hassle.

“I decided I would have to sleep with a man and started to look out for guys that were good looking and intelligent with a sense of humour. I’d like my child to have all these attributes.

“I couldn’t have one-night stands with strangers – I needed to date them, find out about their medical and family history to see if they were suitable sperm donors.”
She added: “I was with the last guy I dated for two months but when I fell pregnant I ended the relationship straight away.

“My baby doesn’t need a father, I don’t want anything from him and I am so excited about being a single mum. I am going to speak to the local council about getting a house and some benefits. I deserve them like any other single mum.”

Kafayat realised she was attracted to women at the age of 16 but experimented with both sexes.

She says: “In Nigeria, where I grew up, people were ignorant about gay people and I had to date men to be accepted.

“I would date girls in secret but slept with two men – but I always knew I was a lesbian.

“When I moved to London five years ago I was able to date women more openly and I had quite a few girlfriends.”

But more than anything, she wanted to be a mum and she started hunting down unsuspecting men in 2014.

She recalled: “One night in Nando’s I started chatting to a guy. He was a 40-year-old property developer – very good looking with blue eyes.

“He spoke very well and seemed intelligent. I straight away thought he would make a beautiful baby.

“We chatted and then swapped numbers. We started to date but as I got to know him I realised his personality wasn’t right. He had no sense of humour.

“I didn’t want this passed down to my child. I didn’t want him to be my sperm donor and ended the relationship before we slept together.”

Last June, Kafayat took a shine to a 35-year-old guy jogging in the park. She said: “I was on a health kick and had started running. He was tall and very good looking. I started to flirt and he flirted back.

“We swapped numbers and started to date. He was very intelligent and worked as a building contractor.

“After a few weeks of finding out about his medical history and family background we slept together.

“I was dreading this part. The thought of having sex with a man made me feel sick but I just kept thinking about the baby I could make.

“I bought a DIY ovulating testing kit and checked I was fertile before sleeping with him. We slept together a few times.”

The pair dated for two months but when Kafayat didn’t get pregnant she ended the relationship.

She said: “It wasn’t happening quick enough for me so I decided I needed to move on to someone more fertile.”

In September, Kafayat met her next target through her job at the time, as a TV producer.

She said: “He was a 34-year-old studio engineer, good looking, witty and intelligent.

“Again, I spent time sussing him out and asking him about his family history and even discovered what blood group he was.”

Kafayat Adegoke and her girlfriend, Aisha, who she intends to wed

This time Kafayat went to the doctors for a fertility check-up and advice on how to get pregnant quickly.

She said: “I started researching the best sexual positions to get pregnant in. It was difficult because I was living a double life. I was sleeping with women all the time I was seeing these guys too.”

Kafayat slept with her new man twice before she got pregnant.

She added: “I was so happy I was finally going to have a baby. I knew I had to end the relationship but I did start to feel guilty because I had grown close to him. I didn’t fancy him at all but we had become friends. I decided to tell him the truth, that I had used him to get pregnant. He was understandably furious and was shouting at me.

“I said I was sorry and made it clear I wanted nothing from him and I didn’t want him to have contact with me or the baby.”

A few months later Kafayat moved to Leeds where she is now a student at Leeds Trinity University studying film and TV.

She has told girlfriend Aisha everything and they hope to wed. Aisha said: “I was shocked at first but when she explained I started to understand.

“She’s my girlfriend and I love her and I hope to be part of the child’s life. I will support her all the way.”

It begs the question what Kafayat will tell the child about the bizarre conception.

“I will say the father is a sperm donor and not go into detail,” Kafayat insisted.

“People have been shocked when I’ve told them what I have done – but it wasn’t easy for me. I will never sleep with a man again to get pregnant. I am happy with one child. My baby’s dad has tried to contact me a few times but I want nothing to do with him.

“I don’t regret tricking a man into getting me pregnant. All that matters is my baby.”

Man is a victim in this sad tale

Matt O’Connor, founder of Fathers For Justice

A child needs a mother AND a father in their life.

And it is a fundamental human right that a child has access to their father.

It is sad that anyone wants to bring a baby into the world in the knowledge that they are denying them access to half of their family.

It isn’t just the dad who loses out but also the paternal grandmother and grandfather.

Unfortunately, women are stopping fathers becoming involved in children’s lives more and more with devastating consequences.

We would support this man in taking legal action to gain access to his child.

Ann Diamond feels Kafayat is selfish and should grow up

Unfair to the dad, unfair to the child

Anne Diamond, our brilliant new agony aunt

Kafayat is showing she’s little more than a child herself. She thinks having a baby is all about her.

It’s not, it is always about the child who will grow up questioning why he or she hasn’t got a daddy.

It’s one thing to grow up fatherless because he couldn’t, or didn’t want to be around.

Quite another to discover your mother deliberately deprived you of a dad. On top of that, it’s miserably unfair to the unsuspecting men.

Stop it, Kafayat. Grow up before your selfishness deprives your child of a decent mother too.

Emma Kenny, psychologist, therapist and lecturer feels Kafayat has treated men unfairly
Manipulator has no right to deny baby a relationship with father

Emma Kenny, psychologist, therapist and lecturer

She has completely taken advantage of this man. When a child is brought into this world both a mother and father are of equal importance.

She has tricked him and manipulated him into answering questions to find out his suitability for a process he didn’t even know he was involved in.

Then to actually wish to exclude him, basically branding him worthless, displays a certain degree of narcissism. She is denying the importance of men, revealing a warped sense of her own self worth.

Not the best quality for a mother, it suggests she’s willing to do whatever it takes to get what she wants.

Children like to have a relationship with their father. In denying him a part in the child’s future, she’s making a decision for a child who has a right to know who their father is.

She doesn’t have the right to remove this opportunity.

SHOCKING!!! Ghanaian Post Graduate Students Expose Traders Who Use Millipedes To Produce Palm Oil

SHOCKING!!! Ghanaian Post Graduate Students Expose Traders Who Use Millipedes To Produce Palm Oil

Millipedes

Students of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) have exposed how traders use milipedes to produce palm oil in Ghana. It’s learnt that the students conducted a research on palm oil production only to make the discovery.

This comes only two months after the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) discovered that traders were using Sudan IV, a cancer-causing agent, in the production of palm oil in Ghana.

According to citifmonline, the students conducted a research and discovered that some traders soak millipedes in palm oil during production to change its colour and taste.

The FDA declared palm oil safe for consumption in December last year advising consumers to only patronize palm oil from sellers with accredited badges from the Authority. However, with this discovery, more in-depth investigations on the production of palm oil is required.

The FDA has already stated that they will apprehend food vendors who continue to adulterate food items on the market.

John Odame Darkwa, the Deputy Chief Executive of the FDA, declared that the agency will ensure it monitors palm oil vendors and place more focus on the supply end of the palm oil trade.

“The essential thing is to make sure you tackle the supply end and the supply end are the producers,” he said.

Even though millipedes are not known to be poisonous, they give off fluids known as
hydrochloric acid that can chemically burn the skin and cause long-term skin discoloration.

Buhari to sack top civil servants for sabotaging 2016 budget

Buhari to sack top civil servants for sabotaging 2016 budget

• President angry with ‘Budget Mafia’ over inflated figures

Some top officials of the federal government are about to lose their jobs for allegedly attempting to inflate the 2016 budget by over N1.7trillion, The Nation can reveal.

The unnamed officials are said to have embarrassed the Presidency by smuggling into the budget proposals such items as vote for Aso Rock Clinic and some communication equipment.

Most of those affected belong to the “Budget Mafia” in the civil service, which has been uncovered by the presidency.

The list of all the culprits was being compiled last night following a directive by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Budget Mafia, sources said last night, decided to jack up the budget proposal by N1.7trillion after learning that the budget for this year would be in the region of N8trillion.

The presidency also discovered that the civil servants recommended N3 trillion for overhead alone.

This has now been slashed to N163billion as against the N177billion last year.

The mafia was said to have been shocked when  Buhari opted for a N6.08trillion budget, which was presented to the National Assembly on December 22, 2015.

Investigation revealed that the top civil servants in the “Budget Mafia” almost scuttled the preparation of the budget because of the inclusion of many extraneous items.

Some of the 6,000 items in the 2016 Budget were said to have been smuggled into the proposals by the cartel.

The padding of the 2016 Appropriation by the affected top civil servants almost marred the presentation of the estimates to the National Assembly, sources said last night.

“Some top civil servants sabotaged the presidency by including extraneous items in the 2016 Budget,” one source said last night.

“Members of the Budget Mafia are spread across all Ministries, Departments and Agencies.

“When the budget was being compiled, they frustrated all the deadlines set by the presidency.

“Despite the vigilance of Buhari and his cabinet, it was embarrassing to the government to hear of some smuggled items.

“Bureaucratic resistance and entrenched systemic corrupt practices dogged every move of the presidency to produce proposals reflecting financial prudence and frugality, during the preparation of the 2016 Budget now before the National Assembly.

“For instance, after learning that the presidency was considering a large budget of possibly N8 trillion in order to significantly increase capital expenditure, bureaucrats brought a proposal of N9.7 trillion for overhead and capital spending even without personnel spending.

“Of the proposed N9.7 trillion, the bureaucrats planned to spend an alarming N3 trillion on overhead alone but the presidency eventually slashed this to N163b lower by 8% than 2015 budget which was N177billion, indicating massive cut of some of the main provisions by the Buhari presidency.

“These bureaucrats also proposed to spend N2.1 trillion on personnel for the 2016 estimates compared to about N1.8 trillion in the 2015 budget.

“But the presidency also cut this down to N1.7 trillion in the final estimates sent to the legislature.”

Another source, who played a key role in the final filtration of the budget, said the “smuggling of some items angered President Buhari.

He added: “Some people were so bent on exploiting the system that the time was simply not sufficient to stop them but since the budget is only an estimate, the implementation part now offers the presidency the opportunity to tame the corrupt intentions and practices.

“We were virtually doing vigil to beat the time since the budget had to be presented before the end of the year to the National Assembly and while some of the civil servants eventually cooperated, those who were resistant caused the insertions of many of the provisions that are now embarrassing the government.

“The situation and its fallout were so bad that it provoked the annoyance of the President who nonetheless kept his cool buying time so as to meet the target date for the presentation of the budget in line with extant laws and regulations governing the budget process.

“Many of the controversial provisions in the budget were essentially smuggled-in by what was described as “the Budget Mafia” in the civil service, made up of people who consider the period of budgeting as their time of massive opportunity to arrange the stealing of public funds.

“Even the process of costing some of the expenditures was also encumbered when the agency of government responsible for maintaining a price reference list -the Bureau of Public Procurement -was not ready with an updated list, maintaining instead a list prepared in 2013. Experts said the list ought to be updated quarterly.

“Many of the provisions that have drawn the ire of the public managed to sail through the budget with more than 6000 items in all because supervision was made even more difficult with the uncooperative attitude of the senior bureaucrats and their subordinates who were themselves expected to be involved in the supervisory process

“While the President stands for prudence and against waste, those controversial provisions clearly don’t represent these presidential standards.”

A third source in the presidency confirmed that some top civil servants will be sacked by the President.

He said: “Several top civil servants involved in the resistance would be fired soon.

“Many of the officials involved are living in fear of being sacked considering the public reactions to many of the controversial provisions which were not cleared by the presidency.

“At that point, the sack of some of the arrow-heads of this resistance was considered but the counsel to be careful in dealing with them prevailed so as not to truncate the process that has been in place already.”

The source gave an insight into the conspiracy by the top civil servants against Buhari’s government.

He said: “The presidency engaged the skills of experts with required capacity to help in the budgeting process, especially with the  adoption of the Zero-Based Budgeting as against the usual envelope and incremental system used in years past by the federal government.

“Zero-Based Budgeting proceeds on the basis of justifying needs and costs rather than the annually incremental approach that transfers expenses from previous budgets with added upward reviews.

”The old approach having been mastered by bureaucrats and past public officials including former ministers often leads to several acts of corruption both by civil servants and political appointees.

“Although the presidency had been planning on the adoption of the Zero-Based Budget with top officials from the then Budget Office and then National Planning Commission few months after taking over mid-year 2015, when both agencies were merged into the new Ministry of Budget and National Planning and a minister, Senator Udoma Udo Udoma was assigned to the ministry, the civil servants simply refused to brief him on the Zero-Based Budget and efforts already made.

“For weeks after the minister was sworn in, the bureaucrats kept planning on the old budget model, stalling the decision to use the Zero-Based Budget until the new Minister found out from the presidency.

“This stalling led to the waste of valuable time and sources said the bureaucrats had calculated that once time becomes of essence, the presidency would be forced to abandon the Zero-Based Budget.

“However, the presidency regrouped the budget planning efforts around the concept of Zero-Based Budget by early December when the Budget Minister, now aware of the Zero-Based Budget, took control and leadership of the process.

“Even after that some of the bureaucrats did not cooperate taking longer than required time to come back with revisions to their estimates that were recommended and ratified by the presidency.

”In the process many of the provisions already marked down for revision simply got snuck in, effectively pushing the presidency in the defensive in the backlash in the public arena.

“Some of the duplications noticed in the budget were due to the difficulties experienced by the software that had been in use for planning the budget in the past, which does not easily accommodate the Zero-Based Budget templates.”

Buhari orders publication of 2016 budget proposal online

Buhari orders publication of 2016 budget proposal online
President Muhammadu Buhari

The President Muhammadu Buhari has directed that the draft 2016 appropriation budget, now before the National Assembly should be uploaded on the website of the budget office so that Nigerians can read it with a view to making their observations.

His Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, made the disclosure on Sunday.

Reacting to reports that the President plans to spend more on State House Clinic than on all federal govt-owned teaching hospitals in the 2016 budget, the aide explained that the Budget Office supplied a summary of the allocations to the various sectors under the Ministry of Health, which showed clearly that the published story was inaccurate.

He said: “The budget office has affirmed that in terms of both capital and recurrent allocations, the draft budget has put far more money in the 17 teaching hospitals than it did in the State House Clinic.

“Having said this, we are not by any stretch of imagination suggesting that the draft budget is beyond comments or reproach. Nor do we wish to dwell on this simply to make a point. To do that will drive away good citizens from pointing out needed corrections and, ultimately defeating the change mantra of the administration.

“The budget is a Nigerian budget and citizens reserve the right to examine its content and provide their own perspectives.

“As the draft goes through the approval process, this and many other aspects will continue to generate interest, criticism, commendation and sometimes condemnation in discussions in the parliament, the media and the court of public opinion.

“We believe that the process of “change” will be affected by, and stands to gain from these debates especially where there is good faith on all sides.

“Government has no reason whatsoever to mislead the citizens on the budget and on all other matters for whatever reason.”

31-year-old reality TV star, Khloe Kardashian, has continued her famous family's trend of trying to break the internet as she left absolutely nothing to the imagination on Saturday when she posted naked photos of herself to Twitter, while comparing herself to Marilyn Monroe.

The photos seemed to be from her family holiday in St Barths back in August as she has previously shared images in the same setting. Khloe placed her arms over her breasts, but left one nipple exposed as she smouldered for the camera.

The reality star wore nothing but lashings of deep red lipstick, matching nail polish and a gold bangle. 'Channeling my best Marilyn Monroe,' Khloe captioned the very daring shot.

She also shared another photo from the shoot, but this time it was a full-body shot with her laying out on her back while pool side.

Nigerian Navy foils hijack of merchant ship, recues 25 foreigners

The Nigerian Navy has foiled an attempt by suspected sea pirates to hijack and abduct 25 foreign nationals aboard a Maersk merchant ship carrying general cargo to Nigeria.

Briefing journalists on Sunday at Onne Sea Port, Rivers, Olusegun Soyemi, the Executive Officer of the Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) Pathfinder, said the vessel berth safely with the rescued crew members unharmed.

Mr. Soyemi said the crew members, including the ship’s captain, were of mixed nationalities consisting of eight Philippines, eight South Africans, five Indians, two Britons and two from Thailand.

According to him, Safmarine Kuramo, a Maersk merchant ship registered in Singapore, was transporting general cargo from Port-Noire, Congo, to Onne Sea Port in Rivers.

“On Jan. 5 at about 08:00 hours; Safmarine Kuramo was attacked by sea pirates about 60 nautical miles off the coast of Bonny Island (in Rivers) Fairway Bouy.
“We got may-day distress call that the ship was boarded by unconfirmed number of sea pirates after entering the nation’s territorial waters.

“We immediately dispatched a warship (NNS Centenary) and attack gunboats led by Navy Capt. Chiedozie Okehie of the Eastern Naval Command to rescue the situation.

“The sea pirates apparently on sighting advancing naval troops fled the scene for fear of being arrested by our operatives.

“The operation was largely successful as all 25 foreign crew members, including the captain, are safe and unhurt, while cargo onboard the ship is intact,” he said.
Mr. Soyemi,a Navy Captain, said the pirates had fired several gunshots at the ships control room apparently to scare and subdue any resistance from the captain and crew members.

Also, the Commanding Officer of NNS Centenary, Chiedozie Okehie, who led the operation, said the crew members locked and hid themselves in the ship’s citadel (engine room).
He said the rescue was successful partly due to the courage and bravery exhibited by the ship’s captain – a woman.
According to him, in spite all odds, she covertly gave navy operatives briefs while pirates on board the ship made several attempt to break into the citadel.

`”Immediately we got to the ship, we carried out thorough searches of the compartments and cabins to check if any pirate had remained onboard.

“Investigations are ongoing to ascertain what happened and who carried out the attack,” he assured.
Mr. Okehie said the navy under the command of Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas remained fully committed to safety of the nation’s waterways and maritime environment.
Speaking, the Captain of Safmarine Kuramo, Zetta Gous-Conradie, a South African, described the experience as horrific.

Ms. Gous-Conradie hailed the Nigerian Navy for its prompt response to her distress call.
“We are very grateful when the navy came onboard because at some point we had thought the pirates would take us hostage.

“The heat was stifling because the temperature was very hot at the citadel, and at some point my crew members and I had thought we would suffocate and die,” she said.

COZA’S PASTOR FATOYINBO THROWS ALL WHITE YACHT PARTY IN DUBAI

COZA’S PASTOR FATOYINBO THROWS ALL WHITE YACHT PARTY IN DUBAI

Pastor  Fatoyinbo

As the French say, there are three sexes—men, women, and clergymen. But the last clergymen to be precise, severally stretches Sydney Smith, late British cleric’s humorous take about the exceptionality of clergymen. The modern cleric frequently affirms renowned poet, Alfred Tennyson’s ageless witticism about the curate who outrageously looms fatter than his cure. A trip through Nigeria’s Pentecostal arena offers a pilgrimage of sort.

There is little difference between many Nigerian pastors and social butterflies. Besides tripping over one another in their mad scramble for the spotlight, most of them spend their time seeking invitations to social functions, playing golf with the filthy rich, celebrating jubilees, acquiring expensive cars among other choice property and reading the death notices in desperation, in case they can’t find a lavish funeral to attend. Besides these fascinating preferences, a few pastors have perfected the art of throwing lavish parties like nightclub managers. These later band of Nigerian pastors sure know how to have fun. They know how to rock. And Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo is no doubt one such rocker.

Pastor Fatoyinbo of the Abuja-based Common Wealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) church celebrated his birthday  at the seven-star Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai on January 22, 2016 in a grand way and he followed it up with an all white yacht party which had Dr Mike Murdock, Pastor Korede Adams, Tye Tribett, Anny, among many others in attendance. It was a classy affair and one of the most expensive parties in Dubai in recent times.

Pastor Fatoyinbo’s recent shindig no doubt affirms the notion that contemporary Nigerian pastors are always ready to rock as their vanity dictates. They nurture no restriction in living up the high life.

Inside embattled Father Mbaka’s new Parish!

Inside embattled Father Mbaka’s new Parish!

The routine transfer of over 500 priests in the Catholic Diocese of Enugu, which saw  fiery Fr. Ejike Mbaka leave Christ the King Parish,CKP,GRA, Enugu, for  Our Lady of Rosary,OLR,Emene,Enugu, penultimate Saturday, elicited reactions  from Mbaka, his flock, the All Progressives Congress,APC, and the national leadership of the Catholic Secretariat.

After holding the forte at Christ the King Parish, CKP, of the Catholic Church  since 1996,Fr. Ejike Mbaka, received his  transfer notice with effect from January 30.

He had established the famous Adoration Ministry renowned for charity, healing, deliverance and pastoral efficacy over the 20 years stint at the parish including other beverage product brands that  earned consumer acceptance following the belief that its consumption had healing powers.

The Adoration Ministry, since inception, grew in leaps and bounds with  torrents of testimonies  which  transformed it to a Mecca of sorts  for  individuals and groups including politicians who sought Mbaka’s  blessings  at  election periods.

Consequently, the KP became the most popular parish in the Enugu Diocese.

No wonder, when the time came for him to leave  the parish for the OLR parish, Mbaka, in an exercise laced with emotions, was escorted by thousands of  the Catholic faithful.

Several vehicles the road  in what could be dubbed a triumphal exit   that halted economic and other activities along major streets where   the long convoy passed.

With  music provided by some groups, the journey began, amid emotions  by members, apparently

unsatisfied with the transfer that  removed Mbaka from the CKP.

The priest  had, while addressing the crowd ahead of  the movement, expressed reservations over the transfer, which, he said, was calculated to make him suffer by certain leaders of  Catholic  Church.

His words:”I know we are going to suffer between  now and few months to come. I am going to suffer and suffer; I know that. I’m going to suffer because I have no place to put my head. I am going to suffer  because I have no place to keep the Adoration Ministry’s assets.

I know I’m going to suffer. Fortunately, it is going to happen in the month of Lent. So, I am going to use my exit here as a Lenten observance but Jesus said it all in John 16:20 to his apostles that you will be sorrowful and the world will be rejoicing but very soon I will turn your sorrow to joy.

“But, for now, I know you are going to suffer. The Adoration Ministry is passing through suffering right now even though I’ve accepted that is the will of God.  It is a mega suffering.

“The quantum of the assets of the Adoration Ministry is the only thing I am bothered  about. Where am I going to keep them? I am going to stay in one small room that has only one small bed, one small table,

little toilet and bathroom. So where am I going to keep all the Adoration assets? My clothing and books I can keep in the car or somebody’s house, but where will I keep these assets that I have given to the Catholic Church of Enugu? But I say, may God take the glory and whoever that has offended me, I have forgiven.

I won’t fight anybody or even dream of battling anybody. If anybody allows the devil to use  him, the same that advised you to make a mistake will laugh at you when you cry over the error. The baby is born, there is no going back. We are moving out. We have been doing it and we will do it again. Moses was going out with a rod in his hand, Mbaka is moving out with his Bible and this nobody can take away from me”.

Decrying what he described as “attempt by some persons to politicize the Church”, by feeding the bishop  with false information, he noted: “ I am giving God the glory and I welcome the Church’s choice and action with absolute acceptance and obedience. So there is no negation to what God has approved and what the Church suggested. Nobody should see me as a recalcitrant priest.

I am not. I have taken an oath of obedience and I  stand on it. I pray God to bless all of you who, in one way or the other, have supported the work of God here and those who have sincerely allowed God to use them for the jobs we did here all these years. God will bless the people of God here and reward you according to your labours. The parish is not going to collapse, it is the Church that will continue to grow”.

He told the members that their journey to OLR,Emene, where he has been posted as Resident Priest serving fewer than two priests, should be seen as the “journey of the Israelites out of Egypt”.

“God has planned a future and hope out of disaster and, where I am going, He will go before me to level the mountain. The Bible says that He will deliver me from all evil; He will keep my going out and coming in both now and forever… I am praying that God will keep His Church and my fellow Adorers so that our journey to Emene will be a journey  of Israelites out of Egypt.

Some of them were grumbling leaving Egyptian soil because they were having the phobia for the unknown, but I am telling you people as a courageous leader, do not be afraid. We are moving and, in not distant time, you people are going to smile”.

The  All Progressives Congress, APC, in the meantime, faulted  Mbaka’s transfer even as it warned of its security implication.

A statement by the South-East APC Caucus spokesman,Osita Okechukwu, alleged that “unseen hands acted on Bishop Callitus Onaga’s discretion that culminated in the decision”.

The statement went on: “Whereas we accept that the transfer of priests is a routine exercise of the great Catholic Church, however we do not wholly accept a situation where the Church allows external forces to influence transfer as the Mbaka’s case suggests. Otherwise, future liberation clergy who speak truth to power will be hamstrung to the detriment of the society.

“Our major concern is the security implications and the fate of his flocks who are mostly the down trodden who may find it difficult to go to Emene for salvation and healing. We frown at anything which will put Fr. Mbaka in harms way or deny his flocks healing. As a party we have watched with concern and trepidation the criticism, the attack, assault and unpleasant comments hurled against Fr. Mbaka since he providentially prophesied that President Buhari would win the 2015 elections.

Even the church did not spare him; he was called unprintable names, yet his prophecy came true. We are happy that Fr Mbaka was vindicated. “It must be pointed out that accusing fingers were pointed at the direction of some anti-Buhari elements like Ohanaeze Ndigbo, a group that didn’t want to hear the name of Buhari; even though Ohanaeze denied the allegation, doubts still persist.

For we are still at a loss why a senior priest will be degraded to an assistant parish priest. “We repeat that we are in solidarity with Fr. Mbaka and our major concern is the security of Fr. Mbaka and the suffering of his flocks mostly the poor who need his healing powers. We had thought that His Lordship Bishop Calistus Onaga could have retained him at the Adoration Ground, as the Bishop Emeritus Gbuji did because of security of his life and easy access by his flocks”.

When Sunday Vanguard visited  the OLR Parish, Emene, Mbaka’s new parish, construction work was ongoing on  the road leading to the church by Enugu State Ministry of Works.

OLR,situated along the major road, was built in 1997 with a  capacity for about 2,000 worshippers. Two duplexes stood as the parish house for  priests, fitted with a  500KVA  generator, apart from two  small generators seen at the engine room. OLR  building is about the same size with  the CKP.

Sunday Vanguard learn that Mbaka’s belongings were already in place at the parish house. But, the question that comes to mind readily, when, juxtaposed  with  Mbaka’s comment describing the OLR Parish house as one room, with a little bed is, would he be sleeping in all the rooms in the duplexes at the same time?

We were raised to believe that Reverend Fathers lead a life of selflessness and celibacy devoid of an eye for material acquisition. How come Mbaka was crying that he was being transferred from his CKP mansion to the OLR  Parish with a one room apartment? What happens to  his  priestly vow of selflessness at ordination?

Buhari’s aide sues US-based blogger over Facebook post

Buhari’s aide sues US-based blogger over Facebook post

A civil rights activist and member of the Buhari Media Support Group, Ms. Lauretta Onochie, has dragged a blogger and US-based lawyer, Emeka Ugwuoye, to court over a libellous publication on Facebook, demanding N1bn.

The plaintiff, who is a volunteer in Buhari’s Support Organisation, also stated that she has suffered tremendous damage to her reputation, insisting that if the defendant was not restrained, he would further publish injurious articles against her.

Onochie in the suit filed by her counsel, Festus Keyamo, at the High Court in Abuja, and obtained by journalists on Sunday, also demanded a retraction and an unreserved apology from the defendant for the words he had used with her photograph.

According to the court papers, no fewer than 163 persons have ‘Liked’ the post, while over 80 people have ‘Shared’ it with 198 ‘Comments.”

Ugwuoye had in the post entitled: “A major break in tracking of the Dubai Madams and their agents – A key Madam revealed as a socialite with apparent connections to (sic) Nigerian politicians,”  published on January 21 2016, in his Due Process Advocates Facebook page, alleged that Onochie, using names like Aunty Lolly, Madam or Aunty, operates an international girls trafficking ring across the United Arab Emirates, Italy and Greece for prostitution.

He had said, “Ms. Lauretta Onochie is clever as much as she could be cruel and mean-spirited. As part of her cleverness, she has associated herself with the Abuja politicians. She likes photo-up opportunities with the most powerful politicians, including Presidents and Vice Presidents…Seeing a picture of her and the President (Muhammadu Buhari) is enough to silence the agents of a victim of human trafficking.

“That is enough to silence any official likely to ask questions; that is enough to get any curious immigration official who intercepts her girls to let them go unstopped. That is enough to cause you and I to believe that she cannot kill an ant. Yet, she is a vicious trafficker of poor girls into international prostitution…Her support for President Buhari seems so honourable and something we would not expect from someone in the business of human trafficking.”

He also alleged that Onochie was fond of recruiting young girls, “promising them good life in Dubai and elsewhere, swearing their parents to shrines, selling them off for $5,000 to $15,000, making nude videos of them and using thugs to intimidate their parents back here in Nigeria,” and making sure that immigration officials were bribed at the airport to let the girls through despite being underage.

The plaintiff therefore  asked the court for an order of perpetual injunction restraining the defendant, whether by himself, agents, privies or servants from further publishing or causing to be published any libellous, injurious or defamatory words against her.

In her statement of claims, the plaintiff who is a grandmother and a member of the All Progressives Congress, averred that the defendant falsely and maliciously described her as “an international human trafficker who belongs to a powerful network of criminal gangs and racketeers.”

While describing the allegations as false and untrue, she added that the defendant did not conduct any investigation before publishing them.

INCREDIBLE!!! Woman Buys M&S Chicken Only To Find ‘Poo’ Leaking Out

INCREDIBLE!!! Woman Buys M&S Chicken Only To Find ‘Poo’ Leaking Out

We really have to be careful what we eat or we can fall ill. Often we hear stories of how people find strange objects/substances in their food and you begin to wonder how they got there in the first place. These unwanted items are the most disgusting things you can imagine from human fingers to dead rats. Yes, you read right ooh!

In this instance, a woman bought an M&S chicken only to notice what looked like poo leaking out of it. This was when she was about to prepare a nice roast dinner for her husband Geoffrey, 63, and their grandson Daniel, 21, who also lives with them.

Marjorie Pearson claims she saw poo leaking from the M&S bird she bought
Marjorie Pearson, aged 64, from Darlington, County Durham, says she was in real shock on seeing excrement ‘pouring’ out of the bird and got some insult from M&S when they offered her a £20 voucher. She said:

‘If I’d have cooked that chicken and we just ate it, we could have been really ill’.

According to Marjorie, the chicken was roast-in-a-bag, so the only reason she spotted the ‘waste’ was because one of the sides ripped and she needed to transfer it to foil.

‘I noticed a little mark like a bruise,’ she said. ‘I tried to just scratch it off and then the skin opened and out it poured.

‘It looked like baby poo. I was just disgusted, I felt sick,’ she said.

She said: ‘I called Geoff and said you need to see the state of this chicken. Nobody can believe it when they see the pictures.

‘It’s just not what you expect from Marks and Spencer’s. We’ve shopped there for years, people trust them.’

INCREDIBLE!!! Woman Buys M&S Chicken Only To Find ‘Poo’ Leaking Out

It’s learnt that Marks told her in an email that they believed it was crop material, adding chickens are usually given time to digest their feed but occasionally some birds eat stray feed before they are caught.

The M&S spokesperson said: ‘We’re sorry to hear about our customer’s complaint. We take queries of this nature very seriously.

‘We have a comprehensive monitoring process in place at all our suppliers and work hard to ensure our food is produced to our high quality standards.

‘We are working closely with our supplier to investigate.’

CHOI!!! It’s not the first time people find disgusting things inside their food. Despite this, I hardly get reports of such nature coming from Africa. Is it that these irritating things are there but nobody cares? People just wash of the poos and brush off the rats attached to their meals? Or they just munch on the whole lot of it?

Hoodlums attack, injure worshippers during church service in Osun

Hoodlums attack, injure worshippers during church service in Osun

NSCDC Commandant in Osun State, Mr. Tajudeen Balogun.

Worshipers at the Divine Victory Evangelical Church of God Gospel Ministry last Sunday escaped death by a whisker as hoodlums armed with guns and other dangerous weapons invaded the church, beat them up and injured some.

Our correspondent gathered that one of the youths at Isale Agbara in Ita Olokan area of Osogbo where the church is located was seen defecating very close to the church and was challenged by some of the worshippers.

The youth was said to have left the place in anger and went and mobilised some hoodlums who were armed with guns, cutlasses and other weapons. The hoodlums, on getting to the church, unleashed terror on the worshipers during service. The incident happened on Sunday January 31st, 2016.

Some of the youths in the church were said to have engaged the hoodlums in a fight but they were overpowered and some of them were reportedly injured by the hoodlums.

A resident of the area, who identified himself simply as Taye, told our correspondent in Osogbo on Saturday that the service was disrupted as most of the worshipers fled the scene of the incident after about 10 of them had been injured by the rampaging hoodlums.

He said, “I heard that one of the area boys went to defecate close to the church and he was chased away by the church members. The boy was said to have gone and brought some of his colleagues to come and attack the church.

” Some of the church members were injured by the area boys but the arrival of the officials of the National Security and Civil Defence Corps prevented the hoodlums from destroying the church completely and even killing some of the worshippers.”

The Head, Public Relations and Protocol Unit of the NSCDC in Osun State, Mr. Wale Folarin, confirmed the incident while speaking on the telephone with our correspondent.

He said seven of the attackers were arrested and weapons including a locally made gun were recovered from them.

Folarin said, “The timely intervention of officers and men of the Civil Defence prevented the fracas from escalating.

“Hoodlums and other trouble makers are warned not to jeopardise the peace being enjoyed in the state. Anybody caught will be severely dealt with and those on the run will soon be arrested.”
